How to conduct oneself during Work immersion Period. Work immersion students
follow guidelines and roles to do in order to completely and successfully conduct
oneself in immersion. In order to finish the work immersion flawlessly, one should do
the assigned tasks for them and make sure that the tasks that have been given to
them are done in the allotted time.
Documents, such as weekly accomplishments, and daily reflection, also need to be
submitted. This will serve as documentation of the tasks that they have done and also
serves as an attendance for them proving that they are at work at that time. Another
thing that work immersion students should take into consideration is their safety, the
student should always be safe wherever and whenever they are during work
immersion hours. The school provided insurance if something unfortunate happens to
students during work immersion, which we do not want to happen. Another
important thing that work immersion students should have is Punctuality every
student should be on time and never be late. This will help them to prepare in the real
world, if they decide to take office jobs, especially office jobs, where punctuality is
observed. If they can’t be punctual during work immersion, what will they do in the
real jobs that they will have in the future? Beside punctuality, the work immersion
students should also have a sense of responsibility. During Work immersion hours,
the students should engage in different tasks or works and should not be seen
wandering around and not doing anything or not finishing their task. As part of the
documentation there will be pictures and they can be caught not lifting a finger.
Every student has different responsibilities that they should do and these
responsibilities can help them to develop trust from other people and make them more
confident in the next task/work. Work immersion students learn many things
throughout the work immersion Journey, engaging oneself during work immersion
builds social relationships towards their workmates, and learns practical knowledge
that is not taught in school. Conducting oneself in Work immersion, students develop
a well rounded personality. Having different experience and developing abilities
throughout the period and make them more qualified for any job that they wanna
apply.
