RESOLUTION NO. 001

A RESOLUTION EARNESTLY REQUESTING THE PROVINCE OF ALBAY TO
INCLUDE IN ITS PROJECTS THE REHABILITATION OF CLASSROOMS
(REPLACEMENT OF CEILINGS, WINDOWS AND ROOFS AND ELECTRICAL
INSTALLATION), AND INSTALLATION OF THE DRAINAGE SYSTEM OF DARAGA
NORTH CENTRAL SCHOOL, BAGUMBAYAN, DARAGA, ALBAY
WHEREAS, the General Welfare Clause of Republic Act 7160, Section 2 (a)
provides that the State shall provide for a more responsive and accountable local
government structure instituted through a system of decentralization whereby local
government units (LGUs) shall be given more powers, authority, responsibilities, and
resources. The process of decentralization shall proceed from the national government
(NG) to the local government units LGUs;
WHEREAS, the School Parents Teachers Association supports the school’s
effort to provide quality education and safe learning environment to the learners by
giving them an accessible and suitable facilities that promotes learnings and
developments;
WHEREAS, the School Parents Teachers Association’s current fund is
insufficient to run the project and therefore, requests the Provincial Government of
Albay to support us to construct the projects that would benefit the learners and the
school in general;
NOW, THEREFORE RESOLVE, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, by Daraga
North Central School - School Parents Teachers Association (DNCS-SPTA),
Bagumbayan, Daraga, Albay and the Barangay Council of Bagumbayan, to request the
Province of Albay to include in its project the classroom repairs (replacement of
ceilings, windows and roofs and electrical installation), and installation of the drainage
system.
RESOLVED FINALLY, that copies of this resolution be submitted and furnished
to the Barangay Council of Bagumbayan, Daraga, Albay.
