BUSINESS PROPOSAL

1
I. EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

A. Description of the Proposed Business and Business Model

Creating letters has been a common gesture to freely express our thoughts and feelings
for the important persons in our lives. Aside from being low cost, letter is a very practical way to
communicate with our special someone through deep and heart warming words we can't say to
them directly. It might be easy and simple to think of, however, sincereness is not about the
money we spent, but about the “thought that counts”.

B. Description of the Market Opportunity

In addition, conceivably sending letters to others is not a new idea. Numerous people
have previously attempted this business, either personally or virtually. Making handwritten
letters has been a way for us to communicate our feelings without talking with each other
verbally, but due to the popular websites that allow users to send their messages anonymously, a
lot might find this a hassle way to submit a message to someone. However, even with its
popularity, a lot of people are still uncertain about using these websites, and many of them are
not sure how these things function. Students who are not good at communicating verbally may
write a letter to express themselves. In our time wherein modernity is everywhere, handwritten
letters are still regarded as formal and classic.

C. Reasons Why this is an Attractive Business Opportunity

Since freedom of speech is an important aspect of social life, it also allows individuals to
express themselves freely, Letter Express allows you to have that freedom. Whether the customer
wants to reveal his/her identity or not, everyone has a chance. We are working as a bridge for
others to communicate themselves and encourage them to take a step with confidence. And also,
Letter Express wants to uplift the culture we Filipinos used to have, which is sending
handwritten letters.

D. Key Distinctions of the Business

This message booth is similar to an old way (in our late 1980s) of giving someone a
simple yet full of adoration through a letter. The entrepreneurs offer a service of giving a
message through paper with different colors, designs, and meanings. The entrepreneurs offer
additional inclusions to make it more romantic and special. We have chocolates, handmade paper
flowers created by us, and lastly, printed pictures sent by the customers. We offer are
budget-friendly letter, perhaps a beautiful chance to confess to your happy crush and express the

unsaid words to your beloved friend and other people. Letter Express allows anyone to say what
is untold. It opens an opportunity because we believe that everyone has a part in their heart that
keeps them uncertain to express what should be expressed.

E. Overview of the Sales, Marketing, and Operations Strategy and Plan

Meanwhile, the entrepreneurs will be using three marketing strategies. Before the actual
event or before the day of running the business, the entrepreneurs will use digital marketing. The
poster will be published and posted on the entrepreneurs' social media accounts including the
form to be filled up by the customers along with the prices and payment method. Aside from the
digital marketing strategy, the entrepreneurs will also be distributing flyers to the students to
inform them about the booth that the entrepreneurs will be running. The flyers will include the
service description along with the prices and the location where the business will be operated.
The entrepreneurs will also be entertaining walk-in customers on the actual day of the
culminating where students of Sapang Palay National High School will be allowed to engage
with the business.

F. Description of the Executive Planning Timeline

Furthermore, Letter Express will open a google form a week ahead of the culminating
event, this will make us be prepared and work easily before the exact date of selling. On the first
day of the business operation, we will post posters and distribute flyers among the remaining
students that still don't know about our business. Aside from the online form, the entrepreneurs
will be also assisting walk-in customers at the place indicated in the poster for two days, this is
for those who prefer going personally instead of answering the google form. The letters from
google forms will be distributed right away on the first day. Up until the last day, we will accept
walk-in customers and deliver their letter right onto the schedule.

G. Overview of the Projected Financials Containing Revenues, Cost, Profits, and

Assumptions of the Business

Lastly, Letter Express offers a budget-friendly service that everyone can avail. We
assume to have a hundred customers for the whole culminating event. The expected capital for
our business is around 800 PHP, which includes all of the materials and other stuff needed for the
booth itself. With all of this, it will be a thousand pesos worth of income or more if we surpass
