SPORTS NOTICE
Football Rules and Regulations for Campus Play

Dear Cadets,

This notice serves to inform all cadets who have an interest in playing football on campus.
With the gracious permission of the Hostel Officer-in-Charge (OIC), football matches can be
held during designated sports hours or on holidays. These rules ensure a smooth and fair
experience for all participants. However, all cadets must adhere to the rules set forth by the
OIC.

Below are the rules and regulations that must be followed while playing football:

1. Attire and Equipment:

• Players must wear appropriate sports attire, including football cleats.
• Shin guards are mandatory for all players.
2. Fair Play:
• Maintain sportsmanship and fair play at all times.
• Refrain from aggressive behavior, foul language, or unsportsmanlike
conduct.
3. Field Usage:
• Football matches are only allowed on designated fields.
• Do not play in non-designated areas or interfere with other sports activities.
4. Alternating Sports:
• Football and cricket will be played alternately.
• The schedule will be coordinated by the Sports Committee.
5. Team Division:
• If there are more players than can fit in a single team, teams will be divided
equally.
• The losing team will step out, allowing the standby team to play.
6. Safety Measures:
• Ensure the safety of fellow players and yourself.
• Report any injuries promptly to the designated personnel (Medical Team).
7. Game Duration:
• Matches should adhere to the specified time limits.
• Respect the schedule to allow other teams to play.

Failure to comply with the OIC’s directives may result in a ban for that particular cadet from
playing football. Remember that adherence to these rules ensures a positive and enjoyable
experience for both football and cricket enthusiasts while maintaining a competitive yet
friendly environment. Let’s play fair, respect the game, and uphold the spirit of the sport
together!
