Beverly the Bodacious Beaver Babe

Adapted from multiple Jess Huff crochet patterns

Nose, snout & head – make from Rose the Rabbit Pattern as written

Ears –Laurence the Lion – Modified


Omit rows 6 & 9

Teeth – Make 2
1. Ch 4, with 4” tail turn
2. Sc in 2nd ch from hook *sc*, ch 1, turn
3. SC 2, 2sc in last stitch
4. Fasten off, weave starting tail through side stitches to come out of final row so both tails are at
top of tooth

Assemble the head


Sew teeth to underside of snout
Use eye indents and place eyes (I have 16 stitches between)
Attach ears to sides of head (I have 20 stitches between)

Body
Use any pattern as written

Arms and legs – Dante the Dragon – Modified


Arms – Bobble modification
1. Ch 3, sc in 2nd st from hook and in next ch, sc in next st of ring, *ch 4, sc in 2nd st from hook
and in next 2 ch, sc in next st of ring* 2 times, ch 3, sc in 2nd st from hook and next ch, sc in
remaining stiches in ring
2. Color change after row 7 (BLO – *sc*)
3. Finish rows 8-12 in new colour as pattern written

Legs
1. Follow first 5 rows in darkest color as pattern written
2. Omit row 6, follw pattern for rows 7-12
3. Row 13. – change colour – BLO- *sc*
4. Do not stuff the foot
5. Follow rows 14-23 in lighter color

Webbed Toes
In darkest color
1. ch 10 with long tail, turn
2. sc in 2nd ch from hook and next ch, dc 4, sc, 3 ch, turn
3. sc, 3 dc 4, ch 4
4. sc in 2nd ch from hook and next 2 ch, dc 4, sc 3, ch, turn
5. 3 sc, 4 dc, ch 4
6, sc in 2nd ch from hook and next 2 ch, 4 dc, 3 sc, ch turn
7. sc 3, dc4, 3ch, turn
8. sc in 2nd ch from hook and next ch, dc 4, sc 3

Fasteh off, leaving long tail

Attach webbed toes

1. use one tail to sew toes to underside of foot, going through both layers of foot to
keep stuffing from migrating
2. with other tail, sew top of foot to toes

Tail- Rose the Rabbit - Modified ear

1. Make one rabbit ear, substituting dc for each sc

Please note, I am a beginner, so there may be errors, and or better ways to make; this is just a
rough summary of what I did.
