Dear all members of the scholarship committee,

First of all, I would like to express my sincere gratitude for having the opportunity to apply for a Masters
of Chemical Engineering study program at University of Genoa, one of the top universities in Italy. I
received my Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Addis Ababa University, one of Africa's
top ten universities, in December 2020. I was given a great distinction honor's degree with a major CGPA
of 3.81/4.00 and a combined CGPA of 3.69/4.00. In high school, I was very much fascinated with
Mathematics and Chemistry. Then I joined one of the top-ranking universities in the country and
decided to study chemical Engineering. It is an integrated engineering field based on the principles of
Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, Biology and Economics to design, modelling, controlling, produce and
transform energy and material. Currently I am working at Tana Beles Sugar Factory (Ethiopia) as an
assistance supervisor but to achieve my goal I want to continue my education at the international
universities. Generally, it is Impossible to visualize modern life without Chemical Engineering. I am sure
your program will help me accomplish my educational and future career goals. I can guarantee you that I
