Introduction

Start with the background like what is prevailing. You can start with the COVID scenario or the
competitive environment etc. Write 2-3 sentences on it. Then write one to two sentences to connect
the background with your topic variable (IV or DV). You can start with any of your variable like you can
connect with well-being or you can connect with decent work depending the literature that you find.
Always try to give recent citations. Write 1-2 connecting sentences that will end with citation.

Start new paragraph with the introduction of the variable you had started talking about. Write 4 to 5
sentences about either the nature of the variable or the importance of that variable. You can write
about the importance of Decent work as mentioned in Sustainable development goals(SDGs).

Start new paragraph with the second variable (well-being) and write 4-5 sentences about it. Additionally,
write a sentence through which both the variables (IV and DV) can be connected. Now write few
sentences related to both the variables.

Write a paragraph in which you introduce your mediating variable and try to explain how you IV, DV and
mediator can be connected. Write minimum 3-4 sentences.

The next paragraph should be related to the state of both of these variables (Decent work and well-
being) in Pakistan. Write what are the major problems/initiatives that Pakistan is taking about that
variables.

The next paragraph should be related to your specific target audience (Working mothers) and the
importance of this topic for them. Now connect all your ideas to generate the research gap. Means write
why doing this research is important.

In this second last paragraph of introduction write your specific objectives that you are going to achieve
in this research.

In last, write 2-3 sentences about the flow of your research.

Literature Review:

You can start with the theoretical framework. It’s up to your choice that you write a single paragraph or
2-3 paragraphs about the underlying theory. The theory of this research is “psychology of working
theory”. You have to write about the concept of theory and how it can connect with your topic.

Now give the heading of all the variables one by one and explain them like start with the definition and
then write few sentences about the variable. And then talk about the recent studies about that variable.
(use only those studies that can somehow relate your variables). Means if you are talking about decent
work, write about its soft side i.e. its behavioral importance.

Now give the heading of Hypotheses Development

Now give sub-heading of each of your hypothesis’ variables relationship

For example decent work practices and survival needs satisfaction

Now explain the relationship of these specific variables and in the end write the proposed hypothesis
Like “on the basis of above discussion, following hypothesis is formulated:

“Decent work practices have a significant impact on survival needs satisfaction”

You have to do this for all the possible relationships (hypothesis) even mediating relationships.
