AN ORDINANCE PROHIBIT ALL STORES TO SELL LIQUOR OR ANY ALCOHOLIC DRINKS

FROM 8:00 P.M. TO 5:00 A.M. IN THE JURISDICTION OF BARANGAY MBUCAYAN, TABUK
CITY, KALINGA

BE IT ORDAINED, by the Sangguniang Barangay that:

SECTION 1: TITLE. This Ordinance shall be known as LIQUOR BAN ORDINANCE

SECTION 2: COVERAGE. All persons and establishments engaged in the sale of liquor or any
alcohol beverages within the territorial jurisdiction of the Barangay of are covered by this
Ordinance.

SECTION 3: PROHIBITION. Sale, distribution and consumption of liquor and any alcohol
beverages are hereby prohibited within the territorial jurisdiction of SECTION 4. PENALTIES.
Any person or establishment found violating this Ordinance shall be punished, as follows:

a) 1st Offense - Community Service

b) 2nd Offense - P500.00

c) 3rd Offense - P500, Community Service and report to Barangay Court

d) For establishment P1,000.00 and cancellation of permit and closure of business on the 3 rd
offense.

SECTION 5. This Ordinance will take effect upon its approval.
