AN ORDINANCE PROHIBITING ILLEGAL LOGGING WITHIN THE BARANGAY

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE SANGGUNIANG BARANGAY

SECTION 1. That this Council is desirous of maintaining peace and order, preservation of
the beauty of nature and care for environment with in the the vicinity of
Barangay Nambucayan.

SECTION 2. That it is therefore prohibited/not allowed anyone to travel or traversing

lumber to this barangay unless with permit from the concern agency.

Exemption: Melina Tree use for the construction of one’s house and with
permit from the DENR/NCIP.

SECTION 3. Therefore, any individual who VIOLATES this Ordinance will be penalized as
follows:

1st Offense - - - - - - - - P1,000.00

2nd Offense - - - - - - - - P 2,000.00
3rd Offense - - - - - - - - Imprisonment

SECTION 4. This Ordinance will take effect upon its approval.
