The tables above shows that all (100%) of the households of the municipality have
both access to the safe water and its facility. Few of them, 33 households, (4) Panamaon, (29)
Santiago, which accounts only as one - percent, belongs to LEVEL I - (Point Source), type of
facility. Some households, (64) Carmen (3) Ferdinand (5) Panamaon (65) Sta. Cruz (21), a
total of 153 (7%) households belongs to LEVEL II - (Communal Faucet or Stand Posts), type
of facility. And majority (2245 households), 92% has an access to LEVEL III (Water works
system ) type of safe water services. However, the municipality failed to pass the water
potability testing, but Municipal Health Office recommends to the public to boil their
drinking water, as the municipality look for ways to improve and manage safely their water
services.
This implies that although majority of the household have access to safe water, it was
recommended to perform actions or interventions to correct the said findings and passed the
screening for safe drinking water.
