I. SUMMARY OF THE CASE

Behind the scenes of Sanofi’s boardroom bust up became a headline way
back 2014 when it reported France’s top drugmaker fired its chief executive, wiping
more billions off its share price. This article showed the chaos inside of this company.
Their boardroom became a headline and faced problems that was caused by their
CEO, believing that it was because of his management style. The board voted
unanimously to remove the said CEO Viehbacher. The relations between the
chairman and CEO become worse and over the past months, he has also been directly
butting heads with some board members, and his position was weakened on Tuesday
when Sanofi warned its key diabetes business would probably not grow next year.
As time goes by, the tension on this company become worse. The CEO
cut Sanofi’s exposure to an $8 billion (5 billion pounds) portfolio of off-patent drugs
in Europe, the bulk of which are produced in France. Unemployment is growing a
headache from one government to the next. Viehbacher, the CEO wanted free hand to
steer company. As Viehbacher defended his track record the wind suddenly changed
and it noted that the board had recommended to renew his mandate back in May.

II. INSIGHTS
This article showed how their company lacks communication. It showed
how messy a company is without a good leadership. Misunderstandings and
miscommunication arise and building tensions inside a room could lead into the
downfall of a company. And this kind of problems may also affect the government
because their company made a big contribution in our society. Number of
unemployment could arise if these kinds of problems may not be resolve.

III. CONCLUSION
In conclusion, having an efficient decision will save the companies board
members, chairman, and CEO’s time, effort, and money. It will also save them from
having conflicts and misunderstanding leading into chaos. With this it will help the
company to do things well, successfully, and without waste. Being certain in a
situation is also important, especially in one’s company. Jumping directly in
conclusion without certainty might cause a trouble inside the company. Creating a
strong communication and connection with your people in your company will avoid
