What you need to do:

‘Satisfactory’ or if incorrect you will see ‘Not Satisfactory’ in your grades section of
your learner portal next to the assessment name. The assessor will provide
feedback and a Record of Results in the assessment task once graded. You will be
required to resubmit your work for any ‘Not Satisfactory’ assessment tasks.

What you will need:

Use the learner material provided in your online student portal as well as research
materials such as books, internet, magazines, workplace documentation etc. to
assist you in gaining the knowledge required to answer the questions. Remember
that the assessment is completely self-paced and open book, so you are able to use
whatever resources you have to answer the questions.

You will be meeting your prospective client at 10 Rawdon Hill Drive, Dandenong
North, VIC 3175 to deliver your presentation in relation to your findings. You need to
prepare how you will deliver the presentation and what you will cover by developing
a presentation plan you will follow during your presentation.
You are to create a presentation plan for your listing presentation that you will deliver
to your prospective client by answering the provided questions.
Question 1
What is the purpose of the presentation for the property?

The purpose of the presentation for the property is to showcase its key features
and benefits in order to attract potential buyers or renters. The presentation aims
to demonstrate the value of the property and convince the prospective client to
choose me as their agent to sell or rent their property.

Question 2
Who is your target audience that you will be delivering your presentation to and
explain consideration for your presentation.

My target audience for the presentation is the prospective client who owns the
property at 3/59 Normanby Avenue, Thornbury VIC 3071. Considerations for the
presentation include:

Understanding their needs: I will research the client's property and neighborhood
to tailor the presentation to their specific needs and expectations.

Highlighting key selling points: I will emphasize the property's unique features,
such as its modern design, convenient location, and rental potential, to showcase
its value to potential buyers or renters.

Addressing potential concerns: I will anticipate and address any potential concerns
the client may have, such as market conditions or property maintenance, to build
trust and confidence in my services.

Presenting a comprehensive marketing plan: I will outline a detailed marketing


plan that includes innovative and effective strategies to attract potential buyers or
renters, tailored to the client's budget and goals.

Engaging the audience: I will make the presentation interactive by asking


questions and encouraging feedback to ensure that the client feels involved in the

I will deliver the listing presentation in a structured and professional format, using a
combination of visual aids and verbal communication. The format will include the
following:

Introduction: I will introduce myself and briefly outline the purpose of the
presentation.

Property overview: I will provide an overview of the property, highlighting its key
features and benefits.

Market analysis: I will present a market analysis of similar properties in the area to
demonstrate the property's value and market competitiveness.

Marketing plan: I will outline a comprehensive marketing plan tailored to the


property, including strategies for online and offline promotion.

Client benefits: I will explain the benefits of working with me as their agent,
emphasizing my expertise, experience, and commitment to achieving their goals.

Question and answer session: I will encourage the client to ask questions and
provide feedback throughout the presentation.

I chose this format because it allows for a structured and organized presentation
that covers all important aspects of the property and the marketing plan. It also
provides an opportunity for interactive discussion, which can help build rapport and
address any concerns the client may have.

condense this into the timeframe set for Role Play 2.
Using 3:00pm as your listing appointment time, outline the content of your
presentation and the timings you will use to meet the time constraints outlined for the
presentation (Role Play 2) in the table below for the following activities.

Prepare and outline a strategy you would use to collect client feedback and
responses following your presentation.

To collect client feedback and responses following my presentation, I would use


the following strategy:

Immediate follow-up: Immediately after the presentation, I would thank the client
for their time and express my appreciation for the opportunity to present. I would
also ask if they have any immediate feedback or questions.

Feedback form: I would provide the client with a feedback form that includes
questions about their overall satisfaction with the presentation, the clarity of the
information presented, and any suggestions for improvement.

One-on-one discussion: I would schedule a follow-up meeting or phone call with


the client to discuss their feedback in more detail. This would allow me to gain a
deeper understanding of their thoughts and address any concerns they may have.

Online survey: I would send the client a link to an online survey where they can
provide feedback anonymously. This would allow them to provide honest feedback
without feeling pressured.

Follow-up email: I would send a follow-up email thanking the client for their
feedback and summarizing the key points discussed during our follow-up
discussion. This would ensure that we are on the same page and that any

By using this strategy, I would be able to collect valuable feedback from clients
following my presentation, which would help me improve my future presentations
