Projects

During my university years, I invented and developed two projects, the "BWalk" mobile
app and the "Cardio" web application.

The "BWalk" app is designed for people with visual impairments, providing audio
instructions and alerts to help them navigate their environment safely. This app was
created to address the challenges faced by those with visual impairments, and was
well-received by beta testers.

The "Cardio" web application is a Python-based machine learning project that can
predict whether an individual is at risk of developing cardiovascular disease. The
application uses a range of machine learning classifiers, including KNN, Logistic
Regression, SVM, Naive Bayes, and XGBoost, to make its predictions. This project was
developed to help people identify their risk of developing cardiovascular disease,
allowing them to take proactive steps to improve their health.

Both projects were developed with a strong focus on user needs and were well-received
by their intended audiences. Through these projects, I developed my skills in software
development, machine learning, and project management, while also making a positive
impact on people's lives.
