- REGIONALISM is a process of dividing area called regions. Regionalism in market is a monopoly only one sells
goods or services there is no competition. When in terms of culture, regionalism doesn’t acknowledging it.
They are loyal of their beliefs. Regionalism doesn’t offer aid to other countries. And also the technology is
rarely available to the region. While GLOBALIZATION it is a free market, they are willing to help by giving
financial aid, the advancement of technology, and multiculturalism where they acknowledging the culture of
the other places or country. The similarities of the two is they both helping the economic growth of a country.

2. How does regionalism benefit Asian countries? Explain your answer.

- It improves the stability of other countries. It helps Asian countries in becoming wealthy and close to each
other. When a country has good connections with other countries, it benefits the country because it can use
the resources that the other countries provide. We all know that Asian countries have many different beliefs
and culture but with this trades it helps us to become integrated. Lastly, it benefits our economy.

3. What do you think are the contribution of the Philippines to Asian regionalism and why?
- The contribution of the Philippines in Asian Regionalism is labor because we have a large number of OFWs
working in other nations. Also, consuming their commodity is a contribution of the Philippines in Asian
regionalism. We bought the product that they export to their country. Therefore we help their economic
status grow.
