- AVMs (Audio Visual Materials) are those things that can be understood by looking at the visual
component of something. “AVMs” are defined by The Librarian Glossary (1987) as “non-book
items such as tapes, slides, and films that are renewed and recent to the library.” rather than
being read like a book.”
2. Can you explain the difference of regionalization and globalization? cite your best
examples as needed to justify your explanations.
- Regionalization refers to the trade of goods and services within a single country, whereas
globalization refers to the import and export of stocks over the world. Consider the following
scenario: Regionalization refers to the movement of goods from one region to another,
Globalization refers to the Philippines' import/export activities in other countries

• Advantages and Disadvantages of Regionalism
- An advantage of regionalism includes having individuals learn their roles in the community.
One disadvantage of regionalism is that it can be too inclusive and keep new individuals out.
• What are the challenges faced by ASEAN states with regards globalization and
regionalization?
- ASEAN's problems are numerous. Globalization, without a doubt, has a tremendous impact on
Asia's role in the global economy. As recently as ten years ago, Asia's agricultural nations
accounted for only one-sixth of global yield. In any event, Asia, with the exception of Australia,
Japan, and New Zealand, has adopted good domestic monetary methods, created a slew of
indigenous investment funds, and attracted considerable private capital inflows. On the basis of
purchasing power parity, New Zealand currently accounts for almost a quarter of global GDP.
While undergoing regionalization, ASEAN is confronted with five major issues and challenges:
widening, province security participation, financial issues and collaboration, and individual
initiative advancement in ASEAN.

- They fabricate ideas that help them maintain equilibrium and allow them to comprehend
