Processing Guide Questions:
1. What does the audio-visual material tell us?
-The video showed us how they compared and contrast the first and third world countries in
various conditions.
2. Why and how did the terms first world and third world, and global north and global south
existed? How about the Second and the Fourth worlds? How do you feel that you belong to
the Global South or the Third World Country region being Philippines is one of the countries
under this region?
-It is according to the creator who invented and established this phrase for country numbering
and in light of the pay of countries with high and low GDP. I felt pitiful because I live in a
developing a country with few resources. Instead of others, use less force.
3. Understanding and brewing up your insights in relation to the depicted ideas of the AVP,
how can the global south catch up with the global north?
-If the global south focuses on what it does best and can truly assist build business, our region
will eventually catch up to the global north.
4. In application to this, which contemporary proofs of economic dependency in the
Philippines and Latin American are observable? How do these proofs pose a challenge to the
mainstream conceptualization of globalization?
-For example, the Philippines' financial reliance is based on farming or the food we export to
other countries, and if this stops, a number of locations throughout the world will be affected,
as will globalization.
5. In your opinion, what is the most pressing concern that developing countries should
address particularly in relation to globalization? How should it be addressed?
-Is to aid non-industrial countries in adapting and being created in the same way that other
developed countries have done, and it should be addressed to the government of the non-
industrial country.

-Global Southern countries are those that are less economically developed while the Global
Northern countries are those nations that are economically developed.

-The United States, Western Europe, and their allies made up the First World. The so-called
Communist Bloc, which included the Soviet Union, China, Cuba, and other allies, dominated the
Second World. The nations that did not align with either group were grouped together. The
Third World has been assigned to you.
3. Additional trivia: How do you define and differentiate ‘multinational’ and ‘transnational’?
-Multinational refers to a large organization having multi-country tasks and branches, whereas
transnational refers to a corporation or organization that caters to at least two ethnic groups.

-It is great to know what is the third world and the differences in global north and south.
