ABSTRACT
effectiveness, most respondents agreed that technology in learning makes the students
feel confident in doing their school work, such as research papers, activities and
presentations.
On the other hand, the disadvantage of technology in teaching and learning in
terms of availability, respondents agreed that, too much use of technology can cause
health problems concerning eyesight of the students. In terms of convenience, it
consumes time when internet connection and/or data connection is slow and poor and it
makes the student feel stress. And in terms of effectiveness, technology leads to
overconfident and can cause of fear of failure. This means that using technology in
teaching and learning has its own advantages and disadvantages. The result of this study
in terms of age revealed that most of the respondents belonged to ages 20 to 21 and most
of them are female. And there is no significant difference between each advantage and
disadvantage when perceived responses are grouped according to profile.
