flashing too. Weird. Maybe it’s a good idea to check the power before you
go any further – a lot of things seem to be going wrong. Then again, you’re
running desperately short on air. What do you do?
The lengths of two sides of a right-angled triangle are 11cm and 9cm. Find
the length of the remaining side, giving your answer correct to 1d.p.
If you’ve got power but no oxygen, you’re dead. Continue to the
escape capsule. Find the length of the hypotenuse.

see the other end of the cable and it’s attached to nothing.

You’ve made it to the escape capsule. As you lock the door, your radio
regains signal. “If anyone can hear me, you have to get to the control
room! The orbit is decaying and the station is too heavy to burn up. It
could kill thousands!”. The message carries on repeating. What do you do?

water anyway. Engage the escape capsule thrusters. Find the length

and head back towards the control centre. Find the length of the
