DC office will forward this letter to Ministry of Land
(MoL) for review and upon acceptance, MoL will give DC office will forward this letter to MoL permission to DC office to do further proceedings for review and upon acceptance, MoL will give permission to DC office to do further proceedings DC office will issue a preliminary notice of land acquisition and will conduct a joint verification with Affected households and relevant organization to identify DC office will conduct a field survey the present status of the land, structures, trees etc. and if acceptable then they will provide permission to the private entity to purchase required land After the survey, DC office publish the Notice of final decision to acquire the property and notifying the interested parties to submit their claims for compensation which is called the cut-off date Private entity will Engage a contractor/consultant/ NGO for purchasing the land following to LARP study After hearing the claims (if any), DC office prepares final budget for Land acquisition and sends the estimate of compensation to the requiring agency to deposit the estimated Land acquisition budget to government treasury
After depositing the budget amount by Govt. entity,
the DC office starts the land acquisition process by dispatching the budget amount
N.B.: Govt. entity conducts LARP study by their engaged
consultant team for international lender safeguard requirement (if any) as well as for supporting document of DoE application
N.B.: The cut-off date is the date of publication of notice
that land is subject to acquisition, and that any alteration or improvement there on will not be considered for compensation.
