Domains Activities
A. Cognitive "Decimal Dash: A PowerPoint Puzzle"

Welcome to Decimal Dash! In this game, you'll embark on a thrilling adventure

through the world of decimals. Your mission is to arrange decimals in both
ascending (from smallest to largest) and descending (from largest to smallest)
order.

Instructions:

Objective: Arrange the given decimals in the correct order, either from smallest to
largest (ascending) or from largest to smallest (descending) order.

Navigation: Use the arrow keys or mouse to move through the PowerPoint slides.
Each slide will present you with a new set of decimals to arrange.

Arranging Decimals: Pay close attention to the decimals presented on each slide.
To arrange them in ascending order, move the smallest decimal to the left and the
largest to the right. For descending order, do the opposite.

Feedback: After arranging the decimals, check your answer. If correct, proceed to
the next slide. If incorrect, try again until you get it right.

Challenge Yourself: See how quickly you can arrange the decimals correctly.
Challenge your friends or classmates to see who can solve the puzzles the fastest!

Have Fun: Remember, Decimal Dash is all about having fun while learning about
decimals. Enjoy the adventure and sharpen your skills with each puzzle you solve!

Are you ready to dash through the world of decimals? Let's begin the adventure!
B. Affective Group activity – (Game) “Decimals in Puzzle”

Objective: The objective of the game is for students to solve a picture puzzle with
decimals embedded within the image. The group that finishes the puzzle with the
lowest cumulative time wins.

Instructions:

Preparation: Prepare a picture puzzle where decimals are subtly integrated into the
image.
Setup: Display the puzzle board.
Group Formation: Divide the students into groups, with an equal number of
participants in each group.

Game Start: Explain the rules of the game to the students. Each group will have
the opportunity to solve the puzzle, and each student within the group will have a
designated time of 10 seconds to observe, analyze and arrange the puzzle.

Turns: One student from each group will come forward and have 10 seconds to
analyze and arrange as many pieces he/she can arrange.

Rotation: After each student's turn, rotate to the next student within the same
group, giving them another 10 seconds to arrange the puzzle.

Cumulative Time: Keep track of the total time taken by each group to complete the
puzzle. This will be the sum of the time taken by each student within the group.

Completion: The puzzle is considered solved when the image have been arrange
correctly.

Verification: Once the puzzle is completed.

Winner Determination: The group with the lowest cumulative time to complete the
puzzle wins the game.

Reflection: Encourage students to reflect on their strategies and teamwork during

the game.

Prize: Award the winning group with a prize or recognition for their achievement.

Note: Ensure that all students have a fair chance to participate and contribute within
their groups. Encourage collaboration and communication among group members.

Have fun solving the picture puzzle with decimals and may the group with the keenest eyes
and quickest minds emerge victorious!
C. Psychomotor Group activity – (Game) “Decimal - Box – Stacker”

Instructions:

Objective: Welcome to Decimal Box Stacker! The objective of this game is to stack
the decimal boxes in the correct order to create a tower. You'll be working together
as a group to accomplish this task.

Group Setup: Divide into teams or groups, depending on the number of

participants. Each group will work collaboratively to stack the decimal boxes.

Gameplay: On a table or flat surface, lay out the decimal boxes provided. These
boxes will contain decimals ranging from smallest to largest or vice versa.

Ordering Decimals: Each group member will take turns selecting a decimal box
and placing it on the tower. Pay attention to the decimals on the boxes. Ensure that
you're stacking them in either ascending (smallest to largest) or descending (largest
to smallest) order, depending on the game's setup.

Feedback and Adjustments: After placing each decimal box, assess the stability
of the tower. Make any necessary adjustments to ensure that the tower remains
upright.

Completion: The game is complete when all decimal boxes have been
successfully stacked in the correct order, forming a stable tower.

Reflection: Take a moment to reflect on the game. Discuss the strategies used,
challenges faced, and how well the group worked together to achieve the goal.

Have Fun: Most importantly, have fun and enjoy the collaborative experience of
Decimal Box Stacker!

Ready to stack some decimals? Let's begin the game!

Group activity – (Game) “Decimal – Box – Rotation - Challenge”

Instructions:

Objective: The goal of the game is to correctly arrange decimal numbers in a box
in either ascending or descending order.

Team Formation: Divide participants into teams, ideally with an equal number of
players in each team.

Game Setup: Each team will be arrange the provided set of decimal box.

Arranging Decimals: On each turn, a team member will manipulate the boxes. The
team must then arrange the boxes in ascending or descending order by the order of
the teacher.

Rotation Challenge: After the teacher tells what order (ascending or descending
order) then one of representative of team must physically rotate the box clockwise
or counter-clockwise to arrange the boxes in ascending order or descending order.

Timing: Set a time limit (10secpnds) for each player turn the boxes to add an
element of urgency and excitement to the game.

Feedback and Scoring: After each turn, teams should verify their arrangement. If
correct, they earn points. If incorrect, they may lose points or receive a penalty,
depending on the rules established beforehand.

Rotation of Players: Rotate the player who selects and arranges the boxes after
each turn to ensure everyone gets involved.

Challenges and Rewards: Introduce challenges or rewards to spice up the game.

For example, bonus points for teams that finish within a certain time frame or
penalties for incorrect arrangements.

Team Collaboration: Encourage teamwork and communication within each team

to strategize and solve the puzzles effectively.

Final Challenge: The game concludes after a predetermined number of rounds.

The team with the highest score or the team that successfully completes all
challenges first wins the Decimal Box Rotation Challenge!

Have Fun: Remember to have fun and enjoy the activity! This game is not only about
competition but also about teamwork and learning.

Group activity – (Game ) Pop the Balloons

Objective: The objective of the game is to correctly arrange the decimals written on
pieces of paper inside the balloons in either ascending or descending order.

Instructions:

Preparation: Inflate five balloons and place a piece of paper with a different
decimal written on each inside the balloons. Ensure the decimals are varying and
not in order.

Setup: The students will put the balloons on the chair. Then the student will pop the
while sitting on the balloon on the chair. Then after the balloons pops the student
will put the piece of paper of the board.

Game Start: Invite a student to come forward and select a balloon to "pop".

Selecting a Balloon: The student will choose one balloon to pop. Once popped,
they must retrieve the piece of paper with the decimal inside the balloon.

Arranging the Decimals: The student, along with the help of the class, must
determine whether to arrange the decimals in ascending (from smallest to largest)
or descending (from largest to smallest) order.

Placing on the Board: As the decimals are arranged, the student will place the
pieces of paper on the board, either from left to right (ascending) or right to left
(descending), creating a line of decimals.

Verification: Once all decimals are arranged, double-check the order to ensure
correctness.

Discussion: Discuss the order of the decimals with the class, emphasizing the
concepts of ascending and descending order.

Reflect and Learn: Encourage students to reflect on the process and discuss
strategies for arranging decimals effectively.

Celebrate: Celebrate the successful arrangement of decimals with the class!

Note: Ensure safety precautions are followed while popping balloon. Supervise
students at all times during the game.

Have fun popping balloons and arranging decimals with your students!
