A simple musical composition may turn out to be sophisticated, richer and thicker
when combined with other melodic lines either with voice or instruments. Beautiful
harmony will be produced when one melodic line is combined with another melodic
line.

What is It
The three primary chords in the C Major are C Major chord, F major chord and
G major chord.
The C Major chord is formed using the first note do as the base or the lowest note.
The F major chord is formed with the fourth note fa as the base or the lowest note.
The G Major chord is formed with the fifth note so as the base or the lowest note.
1. MONOPHONIC TEXTURE
In music, the word monophonic is taken from the Greek (mono-phonic), literally
meaning “one sound”. A monophonic texture has only one melodic line without
harmony or any other form of accompaniment.
