I am a teacher...

I will endeavour to be worthy of this high calling, for the future belongs to the
pupils committed to my care.

I will do my best to teach them how to be the kind of persons their parents,
church and country desire them to be.

I will teach by example and precept, remembering that the impressions made by
the teachers are not easily erased.

I will improve myself in every way possible so that I may have the knowledge and
skills needed for effective teaching.

I will seek to develop in my pupils, the same love of learning that is in my own heart
and I will show personal appreciation for each of them so they may learn to
appreciate one another.

I will consider my work a sacred privilege rather than a secular profession, knowing
there are greater awards than a raise in salary.

I will look upon teaching as a cherished goal in itself rather than as a stepping
stone to a more lucrative profession.

I will be regular and prompt in meeting my class, never absenting myself if I am

physically able to present.

I will be diligent in preparing my assignments so that when I look into my eyes full
of wonderment and expectation, I will have the satisfaction of knowing I am doing
my best to satisfy my pupil’s thirst for knowledge.

I will so order my life that, whether on or off duty, I will be one to whom the
parents may safely entrust the care of their children.

I will daily seek the help of, the Great Master Teacher that I may discharge my
duties faithfully.

I will try to manage my classroom systematically so that, should He enter, He will

find the room tidy, the work organized and the pupils attentive.

I will be satisfied if some of my pupils, when they are grown, come back to me and
say, “ I AM GLAD YOU WERE MY TEACHER.”

When God created teachers,

He gave us special friends
To help us understand His world
And truly comprehend
The beauty and the wonder
Of everything we see,
And become a better person
With each discovery

When God created a teacher

He gave us special guides
To show us ways in which to grow
So we can all decide
How to live and how to do
What’s right instead of wrong,
To lead us so that we can lead
And learn how to be strong.
Why God created teachers,
In His wisdom and His grace,
To help us Learn to make our world

You Are A Teacher

Who are you? Let me tell you who you are...

YOU are a man/woman; YOU are a teacher...

YOU come in all assorted shapes and designs...

YOU are tall, short, beautiful, handsome and respectable.

YOU wake up at dawn to start the day; YOU carry the youth in your
hand;

YOU combine sorrow with smile; YOU have a sympathetic heart;

YOU have a friendly face because YOU are a teacher.

YOU believe that YOU should love all because YOU are a lover of
mankind;

YOU believe that you should serve because YOU are a public servant;

YOU believe that YOU should lead all because YOU are a leader.

I believe that YOU were born for these because you are a teacher.

YOU tailor the cap of the nurse; YOU shape in your hands the gravel of
the judge;

YOU determined the prescription of the doctor; YOU sharpen the pen

Of the writers as well, YOU mold the clay of the youth because

YOU are a teacher.

With Your Heart, YOU love the children; with your hands, YOU guide
them;

With your mind, YOU enlighten them; with your life, YOU die for
them...

YOU are forgotten hero/heroin in the history. YOU rank first, but

YOU stay at last. YOU are known but you are

Teacher … A Hero
Heroes can be found everywhere, From the yellowing
pages of history books to the fresh ink of morning
newspapers, Or to the dangerous rippling brook.

Heroes can be heard everywhere; From the other side

of the world; To the dry or mossy sports field, To the busy
rustling streets
But I don't have to look somewhere, Coz you're just
there in the corner, I only have to look up and stare, At the
hero who is ready to care.

The qualities that are within you, the courage of a

person going to fight, Or the simple honesty in your eyes.
Keeps my goal burning bright.

A hero that's what you are like, A hero who can refresh
my mind, with what you can achieve against the odds. Makes
me encouraged and be inspired.

Your dedication and service to the young, make you a

hero of the modern times, TEACHER... you are the hero who is
unsung, an inspiration to the heroes to come.

Children Learn What They Live

If children live with criticism, they learn to condemn

If children live with hostility, they learn to fight

If children live with pity, they learn to be

apprehensive.
If children live with pity, they learn to feel sorry for
themselves

If children live with ridicule, they learn to be shy.

If children live with jealousy, they learn what enemy is.

If children live with shame, they learn to feel guilty.

If children live with tolerance, they learn to be,

patient.

If children live with encouragement, they learn to

be confident.

I asked …... God

I asked God for Strength...

And He gave me difficulties to make me
strong.
I asked God for Wisdom...
And He gave me problems to solve.
I asked God for Prosperity...
And he gave me brain and brawn to work.
I asked God for courage...
And He gave me danger to overcome.

The Christian Alphabet

Although things are not perfect

Because of trial or pain

Continue in thanksgiving

Do not begin to blame.

Even when the times are hard

Fierce winds are bound to blow

God is forever able

Hold on to what you know.

Imagine life without His love

Joy would cease to be

Keep thanking Him for all the things

Love imparts to thee.

Move out of "Camp Complaining"

No weapon that is known

On Earth can yield the power

Praise can be done alone.

Quit looking at the future

Redeem the time at hand

Start every day with worship

To "thank" is a command.

Until we see Him coming

Victorious in the sky

We'll run the race with gratitude

EX alting God most high.

Yes, there will be good times and yes some will be bad, but

Zion waits in glory, where none are ever sad!

Basic Guidelines For

Personal Guidance and Change

I am responsible for my learning

and growth;
No one can change me or make learn
unless I want
To and unless I allow it.
If I want to learn I grow, I must
be willing to
Make some form of investment of
time, of energy,
Of self.
I must be open because openness is
the way to
Growth. By being open, I allow
existing mindsets
To be tested by new experiences
and new
Reflections which could lead me to
new learning's,
Re-learning's, and unlearning.
I must also be willing to take the risk.

Beauty Tips
- Written by Audrey Hepburn

For attractive lips, speak words of kindness

For lovely eyes, seek out the good in people.
For a slim figure, share your food with the hungry.
For beautiful hair, let a child run his or her fingers through
it once a day.
For poise, walk with the knowledge you'll never walk alone.
People, even more than things have to be restored, renewed.
Revived, reclaimed and redeemed; never throw out anybody.
Remember, If you ever need a helping hand, you'll find one at the
end of your arm.
As you grow older, you will discover that you have two hands,
One for helping yourself, the other for helping others.
The beauty of a woman is not in the cloth she wear, the figure
that she carries,
or the way she combs her hair.
The beauty of a woman must be seen from in her eyes, because
That is the doorway to her heart, the place where love resides.
The beauty of a woman is not in a facial mole, but true beauty in a
woman is reflected in her soul.
It is the caring that she lovingly gives, the passion that she shows,
And the beauty of a woman with passing years – only grows!
