Activity 1

The data in Table 3 shows the distribution of respondents by age

in a study conducted in a barangay. The majority of the
respondents are aged 21-30 years old, making up 42.22% of the
total respondents. The next highest age group is 31-40 years old,
with 23.33% of the respondents. The age group 41-50 years old
has 18 respondents, making up 20% of the total. The smallest age
group is 51-60 years old, with 13 respondents, making up 14.44%
of the total.

Activity 2

The data shows that the majority of the students in the study are
16 years old, making up 45.12% of the respondents. The next
highest age group is 17 years old, with 24.39% of the respondents.
The 18 years old group is next, with 18.29% of the respondents.
The smallest group is the 19 years old group, with only 12.20% of
the respondents. This implies that the majority of the students in
the study are younger students, possibly because they are still in
the early stages of their education. This could be a factor
affecting consumer preferences, as younger students may have
different needs and wants compared to older students. This data
could be used to guide marketing strategies for the canteen, such
as offering products that cater to the preferences of the majority
of students. This is supported by a review of related literature,
which shows that age is a significant factor affecting consumer
preferences.
