Introduction
• Haryana's agriculture faces urgent climate change challenges,
requiring swift adaptation for food security.
• Haryana's rising temperatures strain soil moisture, water, and crop
yields, notably affecting wheat and rice.
• Extreme weather events in Haryana damage crops, disrupt
farming, and worsen socio-economic vulnerabilities in rural
areas.
• Haryana adopts diversification, water management, and resilient
crops for climate-resilient agriculture.
Literature review
1. Singh et al. (2019) emphasized climate data integration into
agricultural planning for risk reduction and resource optimization in
Haryana.

2. Gupta et al. (2018) revealed warming trends and altered

precipitation patterns in Haryana, vital for adapting agriculture to
future climate challenges.
3.Kumar et al. (2020) highlighted wheat yield vulnerability in
Haryana to climate change, urging adaptive measures for food
security and rural livelihoods.

4.Aggarwal et al. (2019) emphasized weather extremes' disruptive

impact on Haryana's agriculture, advocating holistic adaptation for
resilience and sustainability.
Objective
1. To assess the economic implications of climate change on
agriculture.
2. To examine the social impacts of climate change on agriculture,
such as its effects on rural livelihoods, gender dynamics, and food
access.
3. To investigate the role of technological innovations and digital
agriculture in enhancing climate resilience and adaptation strategies
within the agricultural
Methodology
1. A concise review of literature on climate change impacts on
agriculture involves gathering and summarizing relevant research,
reports, and policies.
2. Sample size: 40 Farmers
3. Research area: Village Dhanana (Bhiwani)
4.Sampling method : Stratified random sampling in Dhanana village
will ensure diverse farmer representation by age and education level.
5.Data collection : Structured interviews/surveys will gather diverse
data on farmers' demographics, farming practices, climate change
perceptions, adaptation strategies, and challenges in Dhanana village.
6. Data analysis: Analysis all the data from survey and questionnaire
using appropriate statistical techniques to identify correlation, trends
and association among variable .
