The pores in the roads,allow water to pass through it and infiltrate into the subsoil.
Not only the roads can help in filtering water but wetlands,storage tunnels,rain gardens and
bioswales are built,which helps make it more "spongier".

This city acts like a giant sponge, absorbing and collecting water when necessary.

They not only aid drainage to prevent flooding, but also to serve as a source of water, that
can be reused during times of drought.

PIZO ROAD PANELS

The embedded pizo road panels generate electricity.These crystalline structures, when
impacted, turn the mechanical stress into power. As cars roll over the sensors, the vibration
creates electricity that can run through a wire to a battery, transformer, or central collection
