Instructions to witness Change of Guard
(w.e.f 12 March 2022)

1. Online booking to witness Change of Guard Ceremony at the Rashtrapati

Bhavan can be made at “https://rb.nic.in/rbvisit/visit_plan.aspx”.

2. Booking to witness Change of Guard is free of Cost.

3. Change of Guard Ceremony will be conducted once in a week on every

Saturdays from 0800hrs to 0900hrs. There will be no change of Guard ceremony
if Saturday is a Gazetted Holiday.

4. Entry will open 40 minutes prior to Ceremony and close 15 minutes prior to
commencement of Ceremony

5. Entry to Rashtrapati Bhavan for visit in through Gate No. 2(Rajpath) and Gate
No. 37(via Dalhousie Road-Dara Shikoh Marg) of Rashtrapati Bhavan.

6. Visitors are advised to strictly follow COVID-19 appropriate behaviour such as

wearing mask, maintaining social distance and other guidelines issued by
Government.

7. Visitors are requested to avoid visit in case they are unwell or advised to be in
quarantine by health officials.

8. A person with valid photo ID Cards would be allowed to witness Change of

Guard Ceremony free of cost subject to availability of seats.

9. Online booking is subject to confirmation through Email /SMS.

10. For security reasons, President's Secretariat reserves the right to approve /
regret the permission to witness Change of Guard Ceremony.
