Subject: Government Order (G.O.) for Deputation.

The undersigned is directed to convey the Government’s approval of deputation to Mr. Md Abul
Hashem (ID No. 20565), Officer on Special Duty (Senior Assistant Secretary), Ministry of Public
Administration for attending PhD in Environmental Science (Research) at the University of Glasgow, UK
from 02.10.2023 to 01.10.2026 under the following terms and conditions:
a) He will start his journey for the UK on a convenient date near 02 October 2023;
b) The approved period of this program and the time spent for travel and transit will be treated as on duty;
c) He will draw all his pay and allowances in local currency;
d) All expenses related to this program will be borne by the ‘Prime Minister Fellowship’ under the
“Strengthening the Capacity of Public Administration for Achieving SDGs (SCPA-SDG)” Project,
Prime Minister's Office, Dhaka
e) He will not be allowed to stay abroad for more than the approved period;
f) He will submit a report to the Foreign Training Section of the Ministry of Public Administration within
five days of his return to Bangladesh after completing the course;
g) He is ineligible to apply for permanent residency and citizenship while studying abroad;
h) All terms and conditions of PATP-2023 and other related Rules and Regulations for training/studying
abroad will be applicable.
2. This order is issued with the approval of the competent authority.
