People have different views about how much choice undergraduates should have to study in the

college. While some think that focusing on certain key subject bring a lot benefits. I strongly
believe that everone should be able to study the course of their choice.
On the one hand, there are two main reasons why college learners should study certain subject
area. Firstly, studying useful subject such as engineering, science and technology or marketing
may be advantageous for students in the future. Because those are hot majors, which attracts
young people and provides a lot job opportunities, career environment and higher salary. As a
result, college learner may not worry about unemployment after they graduate. Secondly,
alummus who study education and medical industy may have a high position in social. For
instance, thanks to teacher, children are taught a lot of knowledge and become a good human.
Consequently, undergraduates may get a respect from others if they learn those subject.
However, to apply for those job, students have to study hard and gain more knowledge, this
creates stress for students and has negative effects in their mental health.
On the other hand, I believe that leaners should be free to choose their favorite subject such as
Arts, Commerce or Traveling, which brings them a passion and motivation. They just only focus
on their main major’s lesson. As a consequence, passionate students may use their talents, skills
and enthusiam to make positive changes in their communities. Beside, reducing many
unnecessary knowledge helps learner avoid wasting their money and time.
In conclusion, although studying definite subjects bring more benefits, I believe that students
should choose and study their favorite subject. Because this increases their passionate and helps
them to find their talents or skills.
