Dear Parents
Greetings!

Every year, the school undertakes a ‘MEED’ programme for the mothers of our students to
provide insights into the challenges women face and offer solutions for fostering
empowerment. It gives us immense pleasure to inform you that we are starting this year’s
MEED (Mothers Empowerment for Educational Development) Programme with
enthusiasm.
Doon Public School believes in sustaining the ideals of women empowerment which is a
powerful tool for raising awareness about the importance of women’s rights and
advocating for gender equality. MEED is our special initiative to give a platform to
mothers to hone their skills and face the world with 21st-century skills.

Special Activities: -
 Connected World- Impact on our lives: Usage of Powerpoint tools for educational
purposes.
Date- 6th May 2024
Venue- Senior Computer Lab.
The brainstorming sessions will be conducted on the 1st and 2nd May 2024.
 Wellness Wizards: Grooming on personal hygiene and kitchen etiquette
Date-12th July 2024
Venue-Physics Lab
Personality development sessions will be conducted on the 17th of May and 5th of July 2024.
 Gratitude turns life into Gold: A blend of dance and chorus to express
thankfulness to the education committee.
Date- 5th September 2024
Venue- Central Courtyard
The training for dance and singing sessions will be conducted on 23rd August, 29th August
and 4th September 2024.
 Little Treasures: Go with the flow of Yoga and Aerobics.
Date- 20th December 2024
Venue- Central Courtyard
The Fitness development sessions will be conducted on 12 th and 13th December 2024.
 STAR MOM: Mothers will be awarded on their progress parameters. Titles will be
designated along with the certificate of appreciation.
Date- 14th February 2025
Venue- Seminar Hall

Those mothers who are interested and wish to take advantage of this opportunity can send back the
filled-in consent slip given below by 23rd April 2024.

NOTE: The mothers who participate will get a ‘participation certificate’.

So, hurry and enrol your name for participation. Entries will be registered on first come-first serve
basis
