Ladies and Gentlemen:

This is to respectfully submit the proposed Supplemental Budget No.1 of Barangay Tao-taon for
Fiscal Year 2024.

The funding sources for the said Supplemental Budget are as follows:

1. Savings in the amount of Two Hundred Thousand Pesos only (₱ 388,420.43)

2. Statement of Fund from MOOE 2022 amounting to Three Hundred Eighty-Eight Thousand
Four Hundred Twenty Pesos and 43/100 only (₱ 388,420.43) as 2022 Total estimated
Income of Unobligated balances from MOOE 2022.

Moreover, since the savings generated from MOOE 2022, the said savings are accordingly proposed
to be re-appropriated for Supplemental Budget No. 1 CY 2024.

It is noted that the proposed appropriations cover projects that are included in the duly approved FY 2024
Annual Investment Program of the Barangay.

Accordingly, I respectfully request the Honorable Members of the Sangguniang Barangay to enact an
Appropriation Authorizing the proposed Supplemental Budget No. 1 for FY 2024.

INOPACAN, LEYTE FOR THREE HUNDRED EIGHTY-EIGHT THOUSAND FOUR HUNDRED TWENTY PESOS AND 43/100
ONLY. (₱ 388,420.43).
WHEREAS, the supplemental budget proposed of Barangay Tao-taon has been submitted by the Honorable
Punong Barangay to this body for study;

WHEREAS, after a thorough study by the Barangay Council on the said supplemental budget no. 1 Fiscal Year
2024, the same was presented to this on this 22ND day of FEBRUARY for consideration, and after deliberation of the
same, this body with this approved the said budget;
NOW, THEREFORE, on mass motion of all members present, be it;

APPROVING THE APPROPRIATION OF THREE HUNDRED EIGHTY-EIGHT THOUSAND FOUR HUNDRED TWENTY PESOS
AND 43/100 ONLY. (₱ 388,420.43) FOR THE PURPOSE SPECIFIED IN THE ATTACHED SCHEDULE FOR THE CALENDAR
YEAR 2024, SUPPLEMENTAL BUDGET NO.1 OF BARANGAY TAO-TAON, INOPACAN LEYTE.

BE IT ORDAINED by the Sangguniang Barangay of Tao-taon, Inopacan Leyte that the amount of Php
200,000.00 for the calendar year 2024, is hereby appropriated for the purpose specified in the attached schedules.
The Appropriation Ordinance shall take effect on February 22, 2024.

RESOLVED FURTHER, that copies hereof together with the supporting schedules be furnished to the
Sangguniang Bayan of Inopacan, Leyte through the Municipal Budget Officer for review and approval.

BE IT ORDAINED in Regular Session assembled:

Section 1: The Supplemental Budget of Barangay Tao-taon Inopacan, Leyte for Fiscal Year 2024 in the total amount
of Three Hundred Eighty-Eight Thousand Four Hundred Twenty and 43/100 only (388,420.43) is hereby approved.
The Budget Documents consisting of the following are incorporated herein and made an integral part of this
Ordinance:
1. Training & Seminar Expense
2. Travel Expenses
3. R & M of Govt. Building (Repair of Brgy. Hall)

Section 2: Sources of Funds. The sources of funds for the Supplemental Budget in the total amount of Three Hundred
Eighty-Eight Thousand Four Hundred Twenty and 43/100 only ( 388,420.43) shall be as follows:
Beginning balance ₱ 910,308.55
Less: Total Obligation Amount from 2022 MOOE ₱ 521,888.12
Total Unobligated amount up to date from MOOE 2022 ₱ 388,420.43

Section 3: Use of Funds. The amount of Three Hundred Eighty-Eight Thousand Four Hundred Twenty and 43/100 only
(₱ 388,420.43) is hereby appropriated as follows:
1. Training & Seminar Expense in the amount of Ninety-four Thousand Two Hundred Ten and 21/100 only.
2. Travel Expenses in the amount of Ninety-four Thousand Two Hundred Ten and 22/100 only
3. R & M of Govt. Building (Repair of Brgy. Hall) in the amount of Two Hundred Thousand Pesos only.

Section 5: Separability Clause. If, for any reason, any Section or provision of this Appropriation Ordinance is
disallowed in Budget Review or declared invalid by proper authorities, other Sections or provisions hereof that are
not affected thereby shall continue to be in full force and effect.

Section 6: Effectivity. The provisions of this Appropriation Ordinance shall take effect on
___________________________.

ENACTED. This _4th day of APRIL, 2024 at Brgy. Tao-taon, Inopacan, Leyte.
The Appropriation Ordinance shall take effect on February 22, 2024.
