energetic. One such healthy activity that I enjoy doing is cycling, and for this topic, I will talk about it here. I enjoy cycling, which is

not only a form of exercise but also a mode of transportation. Cycling helps me to burn calories and stay fit. I usually cycle for

around 30-45 minutes every day, which helps me to stay active and energetic throughout the day. I usually cycle in a park near my

house, which is a perfect place to cycle with its clean and green environment. The park has a separate track for cyclists, which

ensures my safety and allows me to cycle without any disturbance. I mostly cycle alone as it helps me to clear my mind and gives

me some personal time. However, sometimes I also cycle with my friends, which makes the activity more enjoyable. Cycling is a

healthy activity that helps to strengthen my leg muscles and improve my cardiovascular health. It also helps me reduce stress and

anxiety, which is a major concern in today's fast-paced life. Engaging in cycling regularly has improved my overall well-being and

has made me more active and enthusiastic. Moreover, cycling is an eco-friendly way of commuting, which helps to reduce my

carbon footprint and contribute to a greener environment.

importance of respectful communication. I made an effort to actively listen to their concerns and
reasons for their stance while calmly explaining my perspective without dismissing theirs. To resolve
the conflict, I suggested a more in-depth discussion at another time, allowing both of us to gather
our thoughts and approach the conversation with a clearer understanding. The lesson I learned
from this conflict that he conflict taught me the significance of empathy and understanding in

- Singing karaoke in the living room is my favorite leisure activity at home. Karaoke is a very popular pastime in
Vietnam, and it's something that many families enjoy doing together. On weekends or holidays, my family will
gather in the living room with a karaoke machine and a selection of songs in both Vietnamese and English.
What I love about singing karaoke with my family is that it's a fun and lighthearted activity that brings us all
together. We can laugh, dance, and enjoy each other's company without any pressure to be perfect or perform
well. Singing karaoke also allows us to express ourselves creatively and emotionally. We can choose songs that
reflect our moods and feelings, or that remind us of special memories or experiences. It's a way to connect
with each other and with our shared cultural identity. I really think that singing karaoke with my family is a
wonderful leisure activity that helps us to bond, relax, and have fun together. It's something that I look forward

- Since I was a small kid, I have had my heart set on studying abroad. In particular, I want to visit the UK and pursue
my bachelor's degree there. Well, there are many reasons why I put this on my bucket list. The education system in
the UK is well-known around the world and the business and economics programs are ranked first. Therefore, to realize
my dream of becoming an entrepreneur, going to the UK and learning at prestigious universities is a must. Apart from
the educational system, the UK can offer an international living environment that is interesting and challenging at the
same. Just imagine how many people from different cultural backgrounds you can make friends with and gain
knowledge from. I suppose it can widen your horizons. Another thing that I find so exciting about visiting the UK is the
architecture there. Cities such as Edinburgh and York are considered the oldest places in the whole nation with
gorgeous ancient buildings and churches. Other than that, the UK also has modern cities like London and Birmingham
or even breathtaking landscapes in the Highlands.I know the UK is located hundreds of miles away from Vietnam and
the flights will take approximately 17 hours to get there, but you know, it will be a great opportunity for me to become
a better version of myself. Right now, I just know that I will walk on air when that day comes.

useful and helps me a lot with my studies, work and relaxation. The laptop has become an essential
part of my life and I can hardly think of a day without it. It has been about 1 years since my father
decided to buy me a laptop to congratulate me on getting admitted to High school. After a long time,
I always keep my laptop clean and It looks like new. I use my own laptop all the time and I find it
convenient to use my laptop because it’s small and light, I can bring it everywhere. In the classroom,
I often take notes instead of writing by hand because typing is quick and accurate. I think that every
student should have their own laptop at school so that they can finish their assignments with friends.
Besides, I don't even need to be at the company, I can work from home with just my laptop. In
addition to studying, I often use the laptop to relax by surfing the web, listening to music, or playing
video games. I 've used the laptop so often because it's really useful and it has a lot of functions and
features which have made my life easier
7. Talk about an interesting tradition in your country
You should say:
 What is it
 Who takes part in it
 What activities there are
And explain how you feel about it
Solve:
- Well, I believe that traditions play a vital role in a country’s identity because of the fact that it could distinguish between cultures.
Even though I haven’t paid much attention to our country’s traditions since I was a kid, however there’s one tradition that is always
in the back of my mind because of how special and intriguing it is for me. And that special tradition is “burning joss paper” and I
can’t wait to elaborate it to you.I have heard that this tradition lasts for thousand of years in East Asian culture, especially Vietnam.
We always do this tradition in a specific date, which is on the 15th every month based on lunar calendar. As you may know, Asians
attach greatest importance to family so we believe that burning joss paper is some kind of a ritual perform that showing respect to
the dead, especially the ones in our family tree. I have always find that tradition to be engrossing because of how unique it is, and
the fact that it has a hidden meaning behind it is a plus that makes it even better to preserve and pass down to younger
generations. However, there might be underlying reasons that this tradition has been criticized strongly by the West. It is because of
the fact that this tradition caused polluted air and therefore take a toll on the environment. Frankly, we still want to preserve this
tradition, but in the meantime, we also want to do something to reduce the impact it has made to the environment.
8. Talk about a traditional festival in your country
You should say:
 what the festival is
 when and where it is held
 what happens at the festival
and explain if you enjoy the festival
Solve:
- So, let me tell you about an amazing festival in my country called Tết. Tết is the Vietnamese New Year, and it's one of
the most significant and vibrant celebrations in Vietnam. Tết usually takes place in late January or early February,
following the lunar calendar. The festival lasts for several days, and it's celebrated by Vietnamese people all around the
world. During Tết, streets and houses are beautifully decorated with colorful flowers, ornaments, and traditional
symbols. One of the most iconic decorations is the peach blossom tree, which symbolizes growth and prosperity. People
also clean their houses thoroughly to get rid of bad luck from the previous year. One of the highlights of Tết is the
traditional food. Families prepare a wide variety of delicious dishes, including sticky rice cake, spring rolls, and sticky
rice. Another important aspect of Tết is visiting relatives and friends. People make visits to their loved ones' homes,
and give lucky money in red envelopes to children and unmarried adults. It's a time for reuniting with family, honoring
ancestors. As for me, I absolutely love Tết! It's my favorite time of the year. I enjoy the festive atmosphere, the
delicious food, and the joyful reunions with my family and friends. It's a time of happiness, gratitude, and hope for the
future.
9. Talk about an environmental problem (global warming). You should say:
 What the problem is.
 What is the cause of it.
 What the effects of the problem are.
And explain how we can solve this problem

Solve:
- Today, I’m gonna talk about global warming. To begin with, speaking of its definition, global warming is a
phenomenon in which global temperatures rise excessively at a faster pace every year, causing an imbalance in the
natural habitat. In recent years, new records for the hottest years in each country have been set, with the new
temperatures far outweighing those of their predecessors. To the best of my knowledge, the primary cause of this
problem seems to lie in the increasingly large number of heat-trapping pollutants in the atmosphere, including carbon
dioxide, methane, and you name it. Although there are a lot of campaigns trying to prevent pollution, the problem has
not yet been tackled so it is still an urgent issue for individuals and governments. And a rise in average temperatures is
said to be the trigger for such serious extreme weather conditions as heat waves, droughts on a larger scale, heavy
rainfalls, or the more frequent tropical storms, causing an increase in the number of fatalities each year. These are just
the tips of the iceberg. In order to tackle this problem, some measures that are suggested would be to cut down on
harmful emissions as well as further implement alternative energy systems. I believe that not only individuals but also
policy-makers should join hands to take action in order to address this problem.
10. Talk about a place where air is polluted. You should say:
Where the place is
When you visited it
Why the air was not good
And explain how you felt about the place
Solve:
- It makes me feel a little sad to admit this, but when I see the cue card, HCM city where I was born and raised is the
first city that comes to mind. Since I was born and raised in this city, I can attest to the fact that air pollution is a major
concern. Consider the sky as an example. Even on the sunniest summer days, we rarely see a pristine blue sky above
our heads. Instead, we typically only see a grayish sky filled with smog. It’s safe to say that HCM city is now completely
covered with air pollution, especially in the places where daily traffic jams occur. As you can hardly see someone
without a mask on the busy streets of HCM city, you know, to avoid dangerous substances and micro particles, this is
becoming worse. All of these measures are taken to prevent us from developing respiratory illnesses while residing in
such an environment; some individuals even have air purifiers at home. I think our government is making every effort
to improve the situation so that the future generation will be able to breathe much healthier air.
