Note:
There is a/an: We use "there is a" or "there is an" when we want to say that there exists one
thing.
Examples:
There is an apple on the table.
There is a pear in the fridge.
There isn't any: We use "there isn't any" when we want to say that there is no amount of
something.
Example: There isn't any milk in the glass.
There are some: We use "there are some" when we want to say that there exists or we have a
plural amount of something.
Example: There are some cookies on the plate.
There aren't any: We use "there aren't any" when we want to say that there is no plural
amount of something.
Example: There aren't any strawberries in the bowl.

Note :
1. Is there any/some: We use "Is there any/some" to ask about the availability of a
singular or uncountable item.
Example: "Is there any milk?" (Asking if there is milk available)
Example: "Is there some juice in the fridge?" (Asking if there is juice
available)
2. Are there any/some: We use "Are there any/some" to ask about the availability of
plural items.
Example: "Are there any cookies?" (Asking if there are cookies available)
Example: "Are there some apples in the basket?" (Asking if there are apples
available)
