Summary
During starting, the entire system terminal to terminals of the circuit breaker
must be checked to verify that panel boards in every single locations is being shut OFF
before the secondary breaker will be turned ON, Then, perform functional testing per
circuiting or per load of the lighting fixture, outlet, area or equipment to avoid sparking
on circuit breaker terminals. Every line side and load side voltages in every panel board
must also be checked prior to energization of all circuit breakers within the panel board.
Herein for general purposes, shutdown process will be from downstream to upstream
panel boards/switches.

Preventive Maintenance
Preventive Maintenance is a standard practice for electrical system that can
be done in multiple of ways either using advance method and involving hi-tech devices
or the traditional method. It requires tools and equipment and devices of what works
best depending on the type, location and accessibility. The most important part about
performing preventive maintenance is that it must be planned and be consistent.
Regardless of the type of tools used to identify all electrical problems, all electrical repair
and installation should be done by licensed electrical personnel or non-licensed
personnel supervised by an licensed Electrical Engineer.

-Breakers
The circuit breakers are more likely to fail than the panel. A breaker that trip
at most often time is more likely to fail, though most breakers nowadays are rated to
work as switches.
-Installation
Most often, installation life span depending on the quality of wires and devices
used. But the usage of electrical devices must also be considered. Thus, if devices were
used at most often, the more the devices might destroy quicker. And another thing must
-Sevice Panels
The electrical service panel is the box that holds your circuit breakers. The
panel takes the power line from Main Distribution Panels and distribute the current to
the sub-panels and service panels.
