SUNNY HIGHPOWER PEAK3 – Short-Circuit-Behavior

The following table gives an overview about the nominal technical values of the three available SMA Sunny
Highpower PEAK3 models. The stationary short circuit current 𝐼𝐼𝑘𝑘 as well as the subtransient short circuit current
𝐼𝐼𝑘𝑘′′ are of particular relevance for the short-circuit behavior of the inverter. The first value describes the amount of
current that the inverter is able to deliver during a stationary fault situation. The second value describes the
hardware current limit, which can only be delivered for a short period of time in transient situations.
