The festival takes place in the district of Montijo, province of Veraguas, it is a national festival that

takes place in the last week of October, the main objective is to preserve the culture and tradition
of the region through competitions, such as: 1 sanco racing contest 2 crab tying contest 3
drumming contest 4 dancing contest 5 shouting and saloma contest. Visitors and tourists also
taste gastronomy through different dishes,like: 1 seafood guacho 2 crab rice 3 crab in sauce 4
patacones with shrimp 5 seafood rice Finally we feel proud of having this kind of festival that
increases our culture economy and tourism
