The study of researcher prioritize the safety and rights of the respondents who will be participate of the

study when conducting the research. To ensure that the research is conducted ethically and responsibly.
The researchers will fulfill the nine ethical considerations to significant in order for the research to be
performed ethically. Following the rules set by Department of Science and Technology (DOST) –
Department of Agriculture (DA). These guidelines and regulations is not only a legal requirement, but also
a moral obligation to protect the research participants' dignity and well-being.

Social value. The researchers aim’s the study on how to prevent the spread of banana disease. This
study helps the local famers to preserve a high quality product and to maintain the health of the banana
plant, the community will benefit of the said study to produce more product and to

Informed consent the researchers should prioritize the well-being and autonomy of their
participants, and work to create a consent process that is respectful, transparent, and sensitive to
individual needs and circumstances. The proponents crafted an informed consent form that is clear and
free from technical terms that might lead to confusion. Before conducting the survey questionnaire, the
proponents will give informed consent in printed form. The respondents of this study should be legal age.
The respondents will have to write their printed name and signature for confidentiality to certify that they
are willing to be part of the study and accepts the purpose, risks, and benefits of participating in this
study, withdrawing, and willingness to give their voluntary and informed agreement to participate.

Risk, Benefits, and safety. Despite the benefits that the research study may provide, there are risky
practices associated with dealing with the device, such as inhaled fumes and direct skin contact when
handling pesticide that will be poured into a small barrel and used as a refilled for a drum that is
specifically part of the system. The provided drum will act as the distribution point and point of origin for
the pesticide utilized in every sprayer the researchers create. Furthermore, the researchers may consider
the sake of the respondents and their risk of the deployment of devices, such as the dispersing of
pesticide through the air produced by each sprayer and potentially affecting the air, as this may result in
health issues for the individuals living besides or surrounded by the plantation area. Fortunately, the
researcher will employ an advance technology to minimize the duties and to lessen the risk of being
touched by the chemicals. The device give the respondent at least 5% of risk for a reason that the
respondent know the precaution when filling the pesticide tank and at least 10% chance of high-risk than
an aerial spray. The area where the device is designated is an isolated area where most of the parts the
area is banana plantation and it is at least 5km away from the community where the device is located.

Privacy and confidentiality of information. The main priorities of the lead researchers will be safeguarding
the research study participants. Thus, they will adhere to the Data Privacy Act of 2012 and not collect any
data and information to the respondents. Furthermore, no private information will be gathered, and study
participants will never be specifically identified. Once the research is complete, no research records will
be keep for a longer period of time.

Transparency. The researcher has no blood ties or personal relationships with her research adviser,
technical panel, or respondents. The researcher pays for it himself. The researcher is committed to
maintaining the research's integrity; therefore, any conflicts of interest will be disclosed to the appropriate
parties, including the institutional review board, research panel, adviser, and respondents. The researcher
will also reduce or eliminate conflict by recusing herself from certain aspects of the research or ensuring
that the study design and data analysis are carried out independently. The study's findings will be sent
directly to the respondent's email address, if they prefer to receive a copy. The researcher is willing to
present her findings at local, national, and international scientific conferences. The School of Graduate
Studies or the institution where the researcher is currently enrolled, as well as the Commission on Higher
Education, will receive a final printed copy of the study. Furthermore, it is open to publishing the findings
in reputable research journals.

Qualification of the research. The researchers are qualified to conduct this study because they have
achieved and possess the necessary knowledge in research methods, microprocessors, and CpE
practice and design 1. They also have expertise in digital signal processing, computer network and
security, embedded systems, and computer architecture and organization, which are all required for this
research. The researchers are enrolled in Thesis Proposal Writing and Defense (Thesis A), where they
are guided by a technical panel and their research adviser. The researchers attended lectures, seminars,
workshops, and training sessions related to their research. More than academic credentials, the
researchers were determined to uphold high ethical standards in their research activities and to never
commit scientific misconduct.

Adequacy of facilities. We will be using these local farms to become the facilities of the design, and we
will be conducting the survey to the targeted local farmers by giving them the survey forms, the forms
must be filled in the exact day of receiving the survey form to prevent a confusion of the participants and
the design.

Community involvement. The design is aiming for local farmers, whether they are not into technology and
prolong to the old technique style of banana farming, the researchers are willing to enlighten these
farmers to slowly adapt these kind technologies in terms of banana farming by inform consent and survey
questionnaire that benefits the farmers. The respondents freely participate in the design and provide them
more information in development of banana farming and the agricultural sector.
