2024 FAVE GHOSTBUSTERS FIELD DAY GAME RULES

Station 1: Frozen Empire (Location MPR)


*Students will be required to show their scooter driver’s license upon entering!

● Volunteers will make sure that all students are sitting on their bottoms (not on their
knees) and their hands are inside the hand guards (not holding the edges of the
scooter).
● The students will ride around the city seated on their scooters avoiding the ghosts
● Ghostbusters will be trying to stop the ghosts who are throwing snowballs & wreaking
havoc on the city. If a scooter gets hit by a snowball, it will “spin out” and the students
will have to make a “pit stop” before returning to the game.
● Students will need to complete 10 jumping jacks in the “pit” before returning to the game.
● Adult volunteers will also need to collect the snowballs and return them!

Station 2: Ectomobile Decontamination Wash (Location Horseshoe)

● Volunteers will help students partner up, remove shoes & place on the table, line up, and
wait for their turn to go through the car wash
● Coach Jolly will be in charge of this station
● One student rides on the scooter with their partner pushing them through the car wash
● When one pair exits, the next pair can enter (1 scooter at a time!)
● After every pair has gone through, the partners can switch places (one riding/one
pushing) and go through again.

Station 3: Vigo’s Painting (5th Avenue sidewalk)

● Classes will join Mr. Madden and parent volunteers to create their masterpieces in chalk
all along the Fifth Avenue sidewalk.

Station 4: Slimer’s Pizza Flip Tag (Location Basketball Court/Upper Field)

● Each student gets a pizza (empty box)


● The pizza must be carried/balanced in one hand with your palm up
● Students are trying to carry their pizza and trying to flip other player’s pizzas out of their
hand while not dropping their own pizza.
● If someone flips your pizza or you drop/trap your pizza, you must go to the sideline and
do 10 jumping jacks before returning to the game.
Station 5: Ghostbusters Team Photo (Upper Playground)

● Classes will join our photographer on the upper playground to take your official FAVE
Ghostbuster Field Day class pictures with the Ectomobile!
● After your class picture is complete, students can play on the playground or take a
snack/water break until it’s time to rotate to the next station.

Station 6: Stay Puft in the Air or Ghost Trap? (Location Upper Field)

● This game is a new twist on foursquare. Instead of 4 squares, there are nine. And
instead of bouncing the ball on the ground, the ball is hit into the air
● It’s like foursquare meets volleyball
● If the ball touches the ground in a player’s square or a player hits the ball out of bounds,
or double-hits, that player is out and everyone moves up one square.

Station 7: Zuul’s Dance Party (Music Room)

● Students will join Mr. Mann for an awesome party where they can sing, dance, limbo, or
make a conga line!

Station 8: Ghost Blasters! (Lower Field)

● Players will be armed with water blasters and a kiddie pool full of water.
● There will be a ghost (ball) suspended on a rope above their heads.
● Using the water blasters, players will try to blast the ghost to their opponent’s side of the
court to win!
● This is going to be wet & wild!

Station 9: Frozen Empire Snow Cones (Location Lower Field Breezeway)

● PLEASE monitor the amount of syrup students are using – no more than 2 pumps!
(We have run out of syrup in the past because students are using way too much)
● Each student will get their frosty treat and enjoy it on the lower field playground
● Students can take a bathroom break or play on the playground until it is time to rotate to
the next station.

Station 10: Don’t Cross the Streams (MPR Entrance/Exit Doorway)


● Students will enter/exit the gym carefully not to get caught in the proton streams
(red/blue yarn maze).
