Special Considerations What are the safety concerns? What is unique about the
students in this class?
The class is going to have a large number of students. Students should
alway be aware of their surrounding and personal space to avoid collisions.
Students should be aware of the low hanging nets
Students should be aware of extra balls rolling around on the floor.

Activity 1:
Purpose:Before we get started with our
tournament we are going to a mini game to
help use practice our overall volley ball skills.
And also help you communicate with team
mates.
First each team will get a ball and play keep
up. Try to keep ball up as long as possible
with bump or set.
Extension up
Game: In your teams you will play another
team like you would play a normal game. The
only difference is that Every team member
22-40 must touch the ball before it clears the net.
You have to decide when to use bump of set
when play. You also have to communicate
with your teammates to let them know who
has the ball and when to hit it over.
Closure:
We will review what we have learned today.
Check for understanding.
Why was it important to
communicate with teammates while
playing. Do you think it helped you?
