A. White Paper

Write a white paper to the College of Engineering Board that studies persuasion
strategies of various cultures. For example, you might explore persuasion strategies in
the Eastern, Northern, Western and Southern parts of Nigeria. What would typical
people from these cultures find persuasive? And what would be the most effective way
to persuade them, without offending them? You can learn more about white papers

B. Communication Models.

Answer the following questions in about 200 words each:

(a) How is general-purpose communication different from technical communication?

(b) Communication is the process of sending and receiving information. Explain the
communication process in the light of this statement. Use a diagrammatic
illustration to explain your point.

(c) How is feedback valuable in communication?

(d) What do you understand by the term technical communication? Explain its
importance with examples.

(e) Human interaction takes place at different levels. How can you distinguish
between intrapersonal and interpersonal communication?
