Position assessment:
Over the past couple of months the senior class officers and I have been busy planning all things
for graduation. We have been meeting with morty every wednesday to discuss college reveal,
disneyland, graduation, class give, and many more things. We have been hard at work planning
graduation, college reveal, disney, and yearbook distribution as of right now. We had a week of
bus sign ups for disney where we worked with Yonan to have seniors sign up for which bus they
wanted to be on. We have contacted chickfila to give out a snack for yearbook distribution and
made sure we had all the markers and wristbands ready for the seniors. We have also found a
teacher and 2 students to perform and speak at baccalaureate. There is a lot left to do and we are
super excited as the school year comes to an end.

standing committee:
I am a part of the signs committee this year. In the month of May we put out signs everyday that
said “senior szn” to celebrate senior week!

special committee:
I am a part of the gift to community committee for the challenge. We ordered 2 signs, one for the
fire department and one for the police station. We had all of the leadership students sign the signs
and we brought them to both stations where they are now hung up!

Concerns/change:
I don’t have many concerns, but an idea I have for next school year would be for a different
officer team to be in charge of the signs. As seniors we didn’t mind doing the signs but since we
opt out 1st and 2nd it would be easier if a different grade that is already at school at 8:30 to do
the signs. A lot of times we would have appointments in the morning because we opt out so
some of us wouldn’t be able to make it.

Positive comment:
I’d like to shout out Payton Miller Kay. She has been KILLING it. She is so hard working and
always comes to class with a positive attitude. She doesn’t get the recognition she deserves. With
all of the challenges she takes on and the attitude she has while doing so she should be
recognized more!!

Core principles:
I feel I have embodied the core principles thus far by reminding others and myself that our
puzzle pieces matter. I believe we are all in this program together as a whole but we have so
many talents that make this program work perfect and everyone is needed and I really want to
make sure the class feels this way. I think I could work on be impeccable. Honestly this core
principle kind of intimidates me because I feel like it means be perfect, but I know it doesn’t, I
know it just means to follow through and be great at what you do. I feel as if I do try but there is
always room fro improvement.

My impact:
As a senior in high school, we have the opportunity to make a lasting impact on your peers. Our
guidance and support can help incoming freshmen navigate their first year with confidence. I
hope that I have embraced this role and inspired others to reach their full potential!
