January ASB Formal Meeting

Position Assessment:
The past few weeks have been absolutely amazing, with all our events that go on I am beyond
thankful for how everything turned out, and couldn't have asked for a better outcome. So far at
the start of January we had a one of our biggest weeks which was similar to homecoming and
that was Winterfest for my first winter feast I basically contributed with publicity I made dress
up days for every single day and sent them to Morty which was posted on the ASB Instagram
and notified our sophomores what days to dress up and it was customized specifically due to our
class which we reposted every single day for our students to see also during Winterfest we had
our class competitions which we worked on during the weekend and that included our dance for
our night rally, Our window competition and our shopping cart competition which all took focus
and it was spread out through the days I helped contribute to my night rally competition by going
to the practices helping set up and overall just taking care of business I helped contribute to the
shopping cart by building a couple of our decorations and pasting them on top, and a contribute
to our window competition by also building a couple of the papers and going up to paste it I
would say that Winterfest went really good this year and there's certainly stuff we could learn to
do better next year but it was really good. other than that as publicity I have managed to build
folders for the incoming freshman class to make it easier for them to just take this year's
publicity and change it up to fit their next year's publicity just so it's all organized which are
basically just and easier way for them to see their stuff and it's Canva folders that they can fix for
their class and the different things that will go. I have not been able to do a Spirit Bomb this past
couple months by intend on doing one this February.

Standing committee:
This year I have not been a part of any standard committees that I could

Special Committee:
This year I have been involved in the Valentine's special committee which just is a way to spread
Valentine spirit I guess around campus we each were given a stack of hearts for our class and
we have written their names on him and customize notes to paste on Windows in hopes that our
student body would come and see it on Valentine's Day, this drive also been a part of the Ripon
High leadership jogathon which is a way to bring in money and fundraise for future events that
we may take hold of.

Mentorship Evaluation:
After switching mentors my new Mentor was Alizah me and Alizah have went out to lunch we
hung out we talk and overall I could really depend on Alizah to just trust her and ask her
questions she's very easy to talk too, she's very kind very comforting and I'm glad that I have
another person I can rely on in class our lunch was very fun we decided to get school lunch and
we sat and we talked about everything we talked about how I like leadership how I'm excited for
elections and how everything is going on with me and her and overall I can really trust Alizah
and I think that this is going to be a good year so far.

Concerns:
One concern that I would like to address would have to be the class Dynamic which is just the
small clicks that always sit together and like I said my last report I don't really feel like that's
correct for the class we're all supposed to be bonded we're also be used to be close and just these
little clicks that sit in little groups just make it harder for as a class to bond.

Positive Comment:
A positive, I would like to give out would have to be to Gaby Calderera our historian trainee and
one of the sophomores, Gaby is a positive influence someone I can trust someone I can talk to
someone that cares about her people, she has always been there for everyone including me she's
always been there for everyone in the class and most importantly she has always been there for
her mentor and her partner which is Gabby Delgado as historian. She takes her position with
responsibility and overall just puts all her effort into it and does a really good job I truly feel like
Gabby is learning new things and contributes heavily to all our class competitions that are
officers plan other than that I'd just like to thank Gaby and tell her that she has been doing a great
job and that's why she is my positive comment because no matter what if I'm feeling down or if
I'm tired she can always be someone I can depend on and trust.
Change:
One change that I would like to see would have to be the way that class competitions are
structured. no matter what we're all humans we're all students and we all have work and class
competitions are truly what make our school better. I just hope we got class help similar to
homecoming.

My Impact:
My impact has mainly been revolving around publicity for the Winterfest Spirit bomb that I hope
to do more of and also just prepare for next year. My impact has also involved helping my class
during competitions and participating as much as I can.
