December ASB Report

The smaller tasks are winding down for technology and we can now fully focus on

getting the big things done. Fall sports have all been recorded and we are getting started on

winter sports which include basketball, soccer, swim, and esports. My main goals for finishing

the semester is getting all HOCO and fall sports in order and finishing on the end of the year

video. Also to myself teach James the layout of the video and have Deep show him how to code

senior transition.

I am currently not on any standing committees.

The technology department was on the yearbook rally committee, where we helped set

up, play music, and clean up technology.

My mentor partner Ricky is the best. He’s starting to figure everything out, I feel like a

proud papa bear. We still have a good bond though, we’ve gotten lunch multiple times and he

helped me out with my halloween costume.

My concern for this program is a halt of energy. The semester is ending and I think a lot

of people including myself are losing motivation. I’m trying my best to find my second wind and

finish strong as well as motivate and lift my classmates to do the same.

A positive comment about someone in class is Emme. She’s a very fun person to be

around and brings a positive energy into the class. I have recently seen how she is also a super

hard worker and a great leader of her class. She knew what she was doing when we set up formal
and hearing her have some serious talks and expect better from her peers was quite a sight. It was

great to see that side of Emme and see she wants best for her class.

One change I’d like to see is others motivating each other. We are at a very hard part of

the year and we need to help each other get through it. Whenever my friends simply say you got

this or help me out I feel a rush of motivation to get all my work done.

A core principle I’ve been trying to live by is to evolve and grow with change. I’m

changing my style in many different ways. I'm finding out how I really like to dress, how I like

to get my work done, and how I like to take care of my mental health. If something isn’t working

for me I like to input change in order to best suit my needs.

An impact I have been trying to make on campus is getting to know the underclassmen. If

I didn’t try to talk to them I could probably only name like 20 freshmen I know. But looking

back I only knew about 20 seniors my freshman year so I want to make an impact and get to

know more people.
