11. Discuss Flynn’s classification for parallel computers with examples of each category.
Also mention the merits and demerits of each category.

12. What is meant by performance metrices? Explain performance metrices used for the
communication overheads in parallel computers with suitable examples.

13. Differentiate between static and dynamic interconnections of parallel computing.

14. What are the steps to create parallel programming environment and also, discuss loop
scheduling.

15. Describe the various types of distributed memory networks used in parallel processors.
Also state the limitations of each.

16. What do you understand by Systolic Array and Vector Processors? How these are
different from SIMD and pipelined processors?

17. a) Write a short note on various PRAM models.

b) Differentiate between data parallelism and control parallelism.

18. Differentiate between shared memory parallelism, distributed memory parallelism and
