Job Responsibilities:
 Planning and Designing of RF Network
 Planning Panel Antenna and Mini lens Antenna
 Ability to understand and study wireless network parameters and implement accordingly.
 End to end delivery of designs services including but not limited to Detail Design, validating RF documents and site
designs.
 Communicate with stakeholders on the rejections and corrective actions.
 Preparing and interpreting specifications, drawings, and regulations for the use of telecommunications equipment
 Create power designs as per power utility guidelines.
 Communicate with field teams for any additional data/clarification required.
 Prepare the BOQ and BOM for Wireless Design

BTS Indoor/Outdoor & Microwave.
 Performed Integration, Acceptance Tests, VSWR & Power measurements using Various Site Masters
 (Agilent, Anritsu, and Bird).
 Performed Power tapping, SMPS installation, Battery bank installation and Maintenance.
 Performed physical optimization like changing Height, Orientation & Tilt depending upon the clutter.
 Performed SWAPPING activity of GSM & Microwave Antennas and rectified it by manual tracing.
 Worked on Various Optical Fibre Equipment’s, Equipment’s of Ericsson, and Huawei for Operators like STC & Mobily.

 Acceptance Test (AT) of BTS and Microwave sits from Customer.

During preventive maintenance I had to do the following work.

RBS:
1Checking all feeder cable connectivity and physical damage
2. Checking alarm and rectify instantly.
3. Checking all labelling status and if not ok then labelled instantly.
4. Testing all functionality of generator.
5. Checking all alarm defined for this site.
6. Checking nut bolt status and rectify them
7. Cleaning all Network equipment
8. Checking battery status (voltage and connection) and replaced if faulty
9. Testing rectifier functionality.
10. Checking power connectivity with power provider
Transmission.
1. Checking IF cable condition at outdoor and fixed if there any problem
2. Checking LOS of the site
3. Check event log of transmission equipment to find out problem

1. Dust cleaning supervision.

4. Cable lying and latching status check as up gradation work going frequently.

• Pre- Acceptance Test:

During pre-acceptance test I have to test as follows:
1. Check power connectivity
2. Test rectifier functionality and load distribution
3. Test rectifier alarm working status
 4. Test power up of RBS and transmission power up
5. Test feeder cable (VSWR, physical damage, Distance to fault, return lose, cable gain, connector connecting status, jumper
cable installation)
6. Test RBS if there any fault
7. Check link budget and check installation has done accordingly budget.
8. Test BAR and other alarm of Transmission
9. Test IF cable status and its connector status
10. Check MW installation process and MW height accordingly link budget
11. Test all alarm for this site (rectifier fail, genet failure, fire alarm, high temperature alarm, genet in operation alarm and
other alarm.
• Corrective Maintenance:
Fault handling on emergency basis. During corrective maintenance, I had to rectify the following fault:
RBS fault:
1. VSWR limit exceeded
2. RX diversity lost
3. Climate capacity reduced
4. Power limit exceeded
5. RU database corrupted
6. HW inconsistency
7. GSM antenna performance decreased as TCH rate decreased and others channel performance due to hardware fault.
8. Sharing of daily progress report to TL and Line Managers.
9. Responsible for maintaining different trackers as emergency data backup for smooth delivery.
