QUALITY PLAN
PROJECT WATER PROOFING ELLIPSE
quality plan project water proofing ellipse

1. Preparation Work
1.1 Site Clearing
The area where water proofing layer is installed must be fee from oil, water and dirt from the
remaining work carried out in that area
The water Proofing layer will not stick perfectly to the concrete if the area is still full of dirt

1.2 Documentation
QC needs to document that the area is clean of any dirt, and QC must notify the owner to invite
then for inspection before continuing with the primary work Stage

2. Polyurea WPK
2.1 application Membrane Water Proofing Polyurea
Polyurea water proofing membrane has advantages of easy and fast application, strong
durability
QC must pay attention to the application of the Polyurea :
 The area must be clean from all dirt dust, water, oil and work residue
 Pay attention to the temperature when applying the polyurea water proofing membrane,
because this is done to ensure the curing process and adhesive power can work optimally
the application of the polyurea water proofing membrane mus be applied at a temperature
range between 5⁰C - 40⁰C
 Proportions of ingredients that do not match the dosage will potentially cause failure
which could result in losses
 Apply a covering layer to provide a covering layer on the water proofing polyurea
membrane contionues exposure to sunlight can change the color and aesthetic

2.3 Request For Information

QC must prepare an RFI file, the purpose of which is to notify the owner that we will carry out
polyurea water proffing membrane work

2.4 Documentation
QC must include documentation for every membrane water proofing polyurea job that indicates
the application of water proofing using polyurea was carried our properly and correctly

3. Deckguard PU
3.1 Application
Hand applicationThis can be suitably achieved by brush or roller. The primer (if used) should
be firmly applied and scrubbed well into the surface, ensuring that a continuous film results of
uniform thickness.
The Dekguard PU topcoat will cover very readily. In the case of application over Dekguard
EP302 primer, the ‘undercoat’ should be fully dry before application. In the case of existing
epoxy coatings, the ‘undercoat’ should be fully cured.
It is further recommended that a contrasting colour is chosen for the second coat, to ensure
unbroken coverage.
Spray application Faster rates of application are possible using airless spray equipment, but the
local Fosroc office should be contacted prior to application for technical advice.

3.2 Documentation
QC must include documentation for every membrane water proofing polyurea job that indicates
the application of water proofing using polyurea was carried our properly and correctly

4 . Polyurethane Spray Foam

4.1 Application
Spraying polyurethane spray foam, QC must pay attention to the gaps in the layer below
Spraying foam must pay attention to the foam thicknees of 5 cm

4.2 Documentation
Documentation spray foam must do a thickened 5 cm

- Site clearing
- Marking level
Slooping 0.5 %
- Installation wiremesh M6 - 150

- Slump Test
Slump test and make concrete samples and concrete test are carried out for 7 days, 14
days, 28 days by QC
- Storing
- Curing beton

5.2 Documentation
Documentation before level marking slooping, before pouring , after pouring, slump test and
making cube samples
