III. Issues and Challenges Encountered

Here are some of the issues and challenges that were met during the conduct of the
LAC sessions:
1. Due to the frequency of the LAC sessions (4 days) and the number of
Learning Facilitator (1), the rigidity of the conduct is taxing on the
Facilitator’s part.

2. The training started late and ended very late resulting in the late or no
submission of some required outputs.
3. Some participants in bigger venues and open spaces seem a bit more
distracted as compared to smaller number of participants in a classroom
venue.

IV. Recommendations

The conduct of the LAC session was generally successful, the teachers were
generally engaged in activities that were game-based and collaborative. There were
challenges that needs addressing and here are some recommendations worth
considering:
1. To reduce the rigidity of the LAC session, it is recommended that the future
LAC sessions be conducted at a regular interval (example: 1 day interval
between zones)
2. Preliminaries must be reduced to focus time for the main purpose of the
day's activity
3. It is highly recommended that future trainings be conducted in small groups
and in classroom setup for optimal engagement from the participants.
