TITLE:- POURING IN MOULDING

INSTRUCTION

1. Take the prepared cleaned metal pouring ladle.

2. Take metal for pouring from cupola.
3. Pour the moulds as per supervisor’s instruction.
4. Assure that the moulds are poured / filled up to top level of moulds.
5. Prior to pouring mould temp to be checked
6. While pouring the metal angle to be maintained
7. Maintain the pouring height
8. Maintained the pouring time
9. Verify the gas vents on mould prior to pouring of metals
10.Remaining metal should be returned back to another ladle at cupola
furnace.

Safety precautions

1. Use goggles while pouring metal

2. Use boots.
3. Use helmets.
