Sleepy Bear-Doughnut Crochet Pattern

Pattern Details
Size:
The finished bear stands approx 15cm, 5.9 inches tall; The finished
cloud pillow stands approx 16cm, 6.3 inches tall. ( The thinner the yarn
you use, the smaller the doll will be)

Skill Level Needed:


Intermediate suitable for crocheters of medium level, requires patience,
precision and basic crochet skills when assembling the doll.

Materials Needed:
⚫ Yarn A (1 ball) --- 4-ply milk ⚫ Scissors
cotton, buckwheat #35 ⚫ Yarn needle
⚫ Yarn B (1 ball) --- 4-ply milk ⚫ Stitch marker
cotton, pink #06 ⚫ Alcohol glue
⚫ Yarn C (1 ball) --- 4-ply milk ⚫ 2.0 mm crochet hook
cotton, white #01 ⚫ 1 pink wing
⚫ Yarn D (10 grams) --- 4-ply milk ⚫ 1 piece of 10 x 10cm light pink
cotton, light pink #05 non-woven
⚫ Yarn E (5 grams) --- 4-ply milk ⚫ Beading needle

⚫ Toy stuffing (200 grams)

Abbreviations(US terms)
ch = chain st
dec = decrease: work 2 sc st(s) = stitch(es)
together sc = single crochet stitch
inc = increase: work 2 sc in same dc = double crochet stitch
BLO = back loops only sl= slip stitch
FLO = front loops only hdc=half double crochet

Notes:
⚫ It is necessary to remember the starting position of the first needle
with a mark button or thread head in the process of hooking for
counting as 4-ply milk cotton is relatively dense.
⚫ Use a stitch marker to mark the beginning of each round.
⚫ All stitches are worked in both loops unless stated otherwise in the
pattern
⚫ The beginning and end of the thread can be hidden in stitches or
stuffing. You can also knot the thread as long as it does not affect the
appearance
⚫ Except for the parts where the stitching position is especially
emphasized, please stitch the other parts to the place you think
suitable.

1. Start from the other end of the beginning stitch round with yarn B,
repeat above rounds 1-26 to crochet in the opposite direction.
2. The finished woven piece looks like the following picture, with the back
of the woven piece facing outward.
3. The two sides are placed overlapped, and two corresponding stitches
on both sides are selected to crochet slip stitch to make the woven piece
into a cylinder shape, stuffing while crocheting.

Finally, embroider candies with 2-ply white thread on the right side of the
doughnut and each stitch spans about 4 rounds. No fixed requirements
for each inclined angle and the number of embroidery.
In the position of slip stitches on the head, position the area to sew the
body head with beading needle, between rounds 13-14 up and down,
between rounds 19-20, with six sts of separation between left and right.

Tail: Sew it to the body between rounds 9 and 10. (on the middle bulge)
Foreleg: Sew it to the body between rounds 19 and 20, and the convex
part is upward.
Hind leg: Sew it to the body between rounds 14 and 15, convex part down.
Inner ears: Cut two1.2 cm diameter circles with non-woven
Blush: Cut two 1.2 cm diameter circles with non-woven.
Mouth: Cut one 0.8 cm diameter circle with non-woven.
Stick the non-woven pieces to the corresponding position with alcohol
glue.

Sewing
Sew the body to the position fixed with beading needle on the head,
and the convex part is upward.
Sew wing to the body in round 19.

Sew the nose between rounds 14 and 16, and sew the eyes in round
14.
Sew the ears to the head between rounds 5-6, rounds 10-11. Put the
hat over the other ear and fix it on the head with waistcoat stitch.

What a cute sleepy bear pillow is finished!
