WE ALWAYS CROCHET IN ROUNDS!!!!!
You can use any other yarn, so the toy will be smaller or
bigger. Do not forget to use the right size of the hook.

How to change to a color yarn in crochet


Abbreviations:
mr - magic ring how to make a magic ring
ch – chain stitch how to chain
sc – single crochet how to single crochet
inc- increase how to single crochet increase
dec- decrease how single crochet decrease
r= rounds(s)
(…)*- repeat the space on brackets the given number of
times
Materials and Tools:
 0.5 skein of main color plush yarn (for example,
Yarnart Dolce, Himalaya Dolphin Baby, Velvet yarn-
100g/120m per skein). I used Yarnart Dolce nr.754
 A little of dark grey color plush yarn. I used Yarnart
Dolce yarn nr.760
 A little of milk color
yarn for egg
 4mm crochet hook
 safety eyes 13mm
 dark yarn for eyebrows
 soft stuffing
 thin long needle and
needle with a large
eyelet
 marker
 yarn cutter or sharp scissors

Front paw*2:
Use 4mm hook and dark grey color yarn.
Crochet around the chain!!!
1rnd: 6ch. 1Sc in the 2nd ch from the hook, then 1sc to the next 3
stitches, 1 increase to the last stitch,
1sc to the next 4 stitches to other side of the chain (10)

2-3rnds: 10sc (2 rounds)


4rnd: 1sc
Change to main color
5rnd: (3sc, 1dec)*2 (8)
6-8rnds: 8sc (3 rounds)
9rnd: 1sc (in this round we make only 1sc)
Don’t fill. 4sc through both sides across. Leave a long tail for sewing
Hind paw*2:
Use 4mm hook and dark grey color yarn.
Crochet around the chain!!!
1rnd: 6ch. 1Sc in the 2nd ch from the hook, then 1sc to the next 3
stitches, 1 increase to the last stitch,
1sc to the next 4 stitches to other side of the chain (10)

2-3rnds: 10sc (2 rounds)

Change to main color
5rnd: (3sc, 1dec)*2 (8)
6-9rnds: 8sc (4 rounds)
10rnd: 2sc
Don’t fill. 4sc through both sides across.
Needle sculpting paws:
Set the thread and make stitches 2 times on the one
paw. Look at pictures.
Tail:
Use 4mm hook and main color yarn.
1rnd: 2ch,
6sc in the second loop from the hook (or 6sc in magic ring)
2rnd: 6inc (12)
3rnd: (1sc, 1inc)*6 times (18)
4-5rnds: 18sc (2 rounds)
6rnd: (1sc, 1dec)*6 times (12)
7-10rnds: 12sc (4 rounds)
Do not fill. 6sc through both sides across.
Body:
Use 4mm hook and main color yarn.
Crochet around the chain!!!

Fill the body.
Head:

Beak:
Use 4mm hook and dark grey color yarn.
Crochet around the chain!!!
1rnd: 9ch. 1Sc in the 2nd ch from the hook, then 1sc to the
next 6 stitches, 1 increase to the last stitch,
1sc to the next 7 stitches to other side of the chain(16)

Fasten off. Don’t fill.
Set safety eyes between 7 and 8 rows in the
range of 8sc.

Sew the head to the body.


Needle Sculpting.
This will give natural look to the face.
Insert the needle in the center of neck. Stitch out to right inner eye
corner, about 2mm from the original stitch. Bring the needle out to
the center of the neck. Apply a little bit of tension on the thread,
not much. The more you pull, the more the eye will sink back into the
head. Repeat for left eye.

Paws to the body.
Forelock.
To do this, we pull the thread to make a loop.
