Type of Mock Drill: Electrocution.

Duration of Mock Drill: 23 Minutes.

Conducted by: ACIL safety team & Site team.

Purpose: To check preparedness for Emergency and awareness for available

emergency facilities at site.

PART A: - (This has to be prepared and circulated to VP,Sr.GM & all section
incharge at least 48hrs. prior to conduct the mock drill).

Sequence Planned (Following headings to be addressed):-

 Identifying & reporting of emergency situation.

 Respective communication and other information to all concerned regarding
emergency with respect to the situation for fire, personal injury, natural calamity.
 Specify the action to be taken by emergency response team.
 Assembly
 Situation normalization. All clear message from spot.
 Head count confirmation.
 Briefing all concerned about the mock drill result.
 All clear siren/ declaration.
 Disbursement of gathering.
 Resume the normal activity.
 Reporting to all concerned.

PART B (To be prepared after mock drill) :-

Sequence actual:

(Actual sequence with time chronology are to be mentioned in line to the sequence
planned)

At around 12.31 PM, Safety representative received a call from site Sup. That a worker
got electrical shock on 1st floor tower-1 in Hospital building.

At 12.32 PM, First aider communicates to reach tower-1 hospital building with ambulance &
first aid box, Stretcher.

At 12.34 PM, Victim was immediately shifting to safer place and removed his Ppe’s. And
communicated to all site staff, project in charge and client.

At 12.35PM, All workers got Instructions from their supervisors to Move from work
place to Assembly point.

At 12.35 PM, Ambulance reached at the location with the Noise of Siren.

At 12.37 PM, Victim shifted in ambulance & send to the Vijaypur hospital.

At 12.39 PM, Victim was checked by the first aider. And first aid (CPR) given in the ambulance
when victim was going to hospital by ambulance.

At 12.41 PM, Ambulance reached the hospital.

By 12.45 PM, Briefed the gathered mob it was a Mock drill and updated the preliminary
results of mock drill to gathered mob.

By 12.52 PM, Disbursement of gathering and resume the Normal Activity.

Worker got electrocution. Safety sup. reached the location & remove
the wire by wooden stick.

Victim shifted to safer place and ppe’s removed Victim shifting outside the tower - 1

Victim shifted in ambulance. Ambulance on the way to hospital

First Aid given to victim in ambulance.

Deviations: -
1. Awareness level amongst the workers should be increased.
2. Emergency Control Room is not evident at site.
3. The workers showed some low response from the end of steel yard.

Suggestions for improvements :-

1. Such Drills helps workers to be aware for safety measures to be adopted in

emergency.
2. Provide earthng in all EDB & machine.
3. Conduct regular inspection of all electrical instruments.
4. Ensure that the job supervisor should be present.
5. Always provide proper access to the all level.
